    For some reason getting the sh!t kicked out of them one day before the selections are made looks better to the committee than Texas losing in August at Ohio St. by one score. Because otherwise the resumes are very similar, with the edge probably going to Texas.

    Versus Michigan on New Years Eve night would probably be better for our program than a home game against cougar high.

    He definitely does not require any more time in high school. Holy crap, imagine adding him and Bishop next fall.

    The only reason to include OU and not Texas is "Because they went 10-2 and Texas went 9-3". Because if you're basing it on who is the better team, well, I think that was settled fairly conclusively. So if the criteria is simply wins and losses regardless of anything else, the committee should admit to that.

    Leaving out the SEC runner-up because they lost in the championship game would be really dumb.

    Bishop's stats from that game would make for a pretty solid season. They're basically about what Parker Livingston did this year.

    I think I just saw a RB score a TD on about a 30 yard run. Is that legal in college football in the year 2025? I'm almost scared to ask... what's our longest TD run by a RB this season through seven games? I think Baxter had one for about four yards against one of the September shithooks. It might be that.

    He's also not getting a raise based on what he's putting on the field this year. If that was the intention it's going to horribly backfire (I don't think that's what this is about, btw).

    I wonder if this is a public negotiation tactic with CDC re: hiring an OC. Either way, something has been very, very off all season. We are historically bad on offense and that is unacceptable with what we are paying our HC and OC. If this continued into next season then leaving wouldn't be Sark's choice to make.

    This is insanity. Dan Neil would be our best OL by a huge margin. (btw I used to work with Dan. Nice guy. It was strange to be sitting in meetings next to Dan Neil, not too long after watching him win Super Bowls.)

    Florida actually offered him the job? I was under the impression that's Kiffin's if they can get the $$ right.
