  1. PK won’t stack the box but will disguise a lot. If he can stop the run with a 5 man box early then that will be a good sign for us. That’s why I like Taffe coming down to the nickel.
  2. Klare is a great receiving threat, but how is his pass pro blocking? I think OSU will need some help protecting.
  3. I think OSU has a slight advantage of the IOL versus our IDL but not much. I do believe our edge room is much better than your OTs. i think you have the advantage in the CBs but it’s probably a push on the safeties. Your WR/TE room is ahead of us. Our defense has always been bend don’t break, don’t give up anything over the top. It will be interesting to see if our OL/RBs can be better than last year. Our run defense will be good. how’s your kicker? It may come down to a field goal
  4. Similar. He is still engaged and working drills and doing walk-throughs, he just is not making any physical contact with the hand. I heard it was a combination of the fingers and wrist. They just want to give it time this week to go through rehab to get the pain down when he strikes. He will probably have it heavily wrapped for the OSu game. Source: DL walk-on
  5. First. I apologize. I got my posters and messages mixed up. Second, Is there any new update on Goosby's injury? I heard from a walk-on player what he knows, but want to hear from others before repeating information from a person on the team.
  6. You probably also thought Goosby was a loser who was just backing up Banks and we should have gone out to the portal to have an experienced back behind him. Oh and btw Goosby also played RT and could have come in at guard because there is this little thing Flood does in practice called cross training. You also have most likely not considered that Flood is putting Neto in the spot to understand "if" he can play LT in an emergency situation. That is what practice is for. If he had to go to his 4th Tackle option during a game, should it be Neto or one of the freshmen? Tackles: Goosby, Baker, Brooks, Neto/Chatman? You are probably correct in hindsight about getting Pregnon. I don't know if he was really an option or not. At the time, I'm assuming the staff was prioritizing other players and were comfortable with the depth we had.
  7. Are you sure Neto hasn't taken any reps at tackle in 3 year or are you just speculating? I know he took some snaps last year at both tackle spots.
  8. Thats a run! That’s a run! Before the ball was snapped. FILM ROOM
  9. Post that Parker Livingstone over the shoulder catch from Arch
  10. @Bobby Burton what are all the sky is falling people going do if he commits to us?
  11. SPAM and likely a phishing site.
  12. You can just tell NIL is not Arch’s focus. He “tries to not do too much”. He wants to focus on football. He won’t say it, but his focus is to be a #1 pick and to be an NFL All Star. He knows that’s were the big money. You can be a millionaire in college or you can be a billionaire through the NFL. Pick
  13. Has anyone heard where Clark is in his recovery? Will he be a full participant in fall practice? Will he be fully available by mid year?
  14. I think you also have to look at Baxter and Clark in the picture. They are both going to need on full year before going to the NFL. Baxter maybe able to do it if he gets a strong 1/2 year this year. Clark will need this year and next year.
  15. I think the OL is what is going to make or break us on offense. If Arch has no time to get to the deep ball because of protection means we will likely have to run more 12 personnel which would likely keep both TE's in for blocking. If they OL can help the run game then we are putting a lot on Arch's shoulder and some less experienced WR's to carry the load. We go as the OL goes.
  16. I think there is a lack of respect for what Wisner did for us last year. PFF recognizes 1000+ yd rusher returning for their 3rd year and the potential of the other backs in the room. I think Gibson is going to show growth. Look at the history of our backs. Year two, after a mediocre first year, (Brooks, Bijan, Blue, etc) they have shown significant improvement. Gibson got some valuable snaps even though the majority of them were short yardage situations.
  17. The RB could also surprise. Has Gibson improved? Will Baxter or Clark be available by mid/late year? Arch changes the dynamics a little on the run game. Teams have to account for his legs. If both Wisner and Gibson have improved over last year and are able to stay healthy, I would put them above our CB's and maybe even above our TE's. I think with Neal Brown and Jason Endoo, plus some bigger body TE's (shannon, Emaree) we could see some new running game concepts.
  18. Given this ranking, which I would not have a strong disagreement with, defense once again is going to be the overall strength of the team. Last year, Sark leaned on the defense to get to the CFP. The offense just had to be good - not great. Will Sark try to be more aggressive with the offense this year?
  19. I think we can sustain on off year in recruiting a RB but this can’t be a trend. We haven’t proven that we can get the level of RB we need in the portal. Generally, we have been able to get contributors to NFL level skill players at other positions.
  20. I'm not seeing anything else. I was wondering if this was accurate. Don't see it on Twit yet.
  21. Hey @Gerry Hamilton will this likely improve his 247 ranking? They have him as the #5 QB in the class.
  22. 247 actually has him only rated as the #4 QB in the class. Maybe this bumps up a little.
