I don’t know why anyone is laughing. This is the truth. Texas lost three good players in the portal and brought in one that will contribute. I will be shocked if this team advances to the Sweet 16. Rebuilding during Booker’s senior year is maddening. There is 12 on this roster and two will not contribute. 10 is thin. Five of those ten are freshmen in a difficult conference. Anyone who thinks Texas is better than SC, LSU, Vanderbilt and Kentucky right now is not paying attention. Tennessee might even be better because Caldwell found 15 players that are good and fit her system. I’m truly at a loss for words.

It’s a player who was a backup at Marquette. This program is so unserious.

You’re forgetting Vanderbilt who I’d put above Texas. And honestly, I’d put Kentucky and probably Tennessee above Texas, too. I’m sorry, I might love Texas, but I’m a realist. I don’t know what’s going on with this program but it’s Madison and a lot of youth. That’s risky and scary, in my opinion, and I am disappointed it’s come to this for Booker’s senior year.

Sira Thienou is supposed to visit this weekend. However, she’s at Auburn now and they’re hoping she doesn’t leave without committing.

The silence on this topic is deafening. Texas lost three players to the portal and has only added one. Since the one addition, Texas has not done a single thing and no quality players are left. Texas has needs and roster spots to fill regardless of the freshmen class I am tired of hearing about. This is frustrating. I’ve never been so disappointed in Vic.

When Texas is losing games and losing to SC, LSU, Vanderbilt and Tennessee, people will absolutely remember portal failure.

Booker posted a picture of her traveling “to see her girl” yesterday on her IG story. She was at the airport with luggage. I usually screenshot everything, but didn’t think anything of it at the time. The ND spring game was today. Also, Hidalgo has braces. She has a NIL deal with an Indiana Dental Clinic.

Anyway you slice it, this is not ok. Arch would not be caught dead in a different team’s clothing. No athlete at Texas would. This is so disappointing.

Now Jordan Lee’s dad is going off on X. This after Carlton’s mom is still yapping every opportunity she gets.

JT Gasso is Oklahoma’s hitting coach. Earleywine actually has a highly successful track record as an offensive specialist and during his one season at Ole Miss, helped the team reach its first-ever WCWS. Under his direction, the offense broke nearly every single-season program record including runs, hits, and doubles. Ole Miss is 2nd to last in the SEC this season. Stewart and Goode are both hitting better than last year. Maloney and Atwood are not. Martinez has improved from 2024. Henry’s batting average is currently .400; it was .409 last year. I am concerned with the lack of production from all the freshmen besides Wells. If you’re not going to use the portal in favor of high school recruiting and development, players better be ready to go. I am not impressed and I truly hope White re-evaluates his beliefs on the portal. We need experience and production next year!

Freshmen, besides maybe Wells, are really struggling. And, Reese is slumping. Mike White really needs to think about his portal philosophy and bring in talent next year. Every team uses the portal to improve, besides Texas, and they’re passing Texas. Mike White can’t keep relying on High School recruiting and development.
