    Their pass rush wasn’t great last year either but something like a 1/3 to 1/2 their sacks last year came from the 2 games vs us.

    From what I understand PK calls the defense, the secondary coordinator is in charge of the alignments and coverages on the back end. Requires good coordination between the two units. Missing players shouldn’t excuse poor basic zone play.

    Duane Akina is a terrible zone concept teacher. Always has been.

    The entire secondary shouldn’t be reliant on one person.

    Akina has always been terrible at zone. He’s in charge of the back half calls and pairing with front 7. It will be best to replace the old man that is not good at coaching the type of secondary PK prefers.

    I’m not sold on Kinne. He hasn’t looked good without players recruited by Eric Morris. He’s never built a program. If I were one of the lower p4 teams I’d go with Morris over Kinne and most likely Traylor as well.

    General question: Why do we continue to run so much 12 personnel given our tight ends aren’t very good pass or run blockers? Seems we’d be better off spreading teams out with more 11?

    False. At that age range Steve Sarkisian was being for cause for being inebriated on the job.

    None but how many national championships appearances does Freeman have compared to Sark as a head coach? What is Freeman’s record against Georgia vs Sark?
