  1. You do know that Sark is the decider on who Flood offers and prioritizes, right? Blaming Flood for his boss disappearing in the spring for 30+ days and the no one at the university being able to get ahold of him while missing a junior day for “flu” is certainly a choice.
  2. And I think we’re all on same page with beating Georgia! Also seems like we’re on same page with portal for a couple starting caliber OL.
  3. I don’t believe I have pushed for Flood to be fired. I am pushing for us to use NIL similar to how we did for interior defensive linemen last portal season and bring in 2-4 because it’s very obvious that there isn’t much on the roster after this year. Baker is the only guy who should have a job next season as he has gotten better over the course of the season. Goosby is likely gone, Hutson is gone, and Campbell is gone. Robertson is okay as a center but hopefully Cruz can live up to the hype. Other than Baker we don’t have one proven starter for next season.
  4. Me? Personally removing flood does nothing as Gerry pointed out earlier, just a scapegoat type of letting go.
  5. And that’s the problem. The HC chose that starting 5 we had for half the season. The HC also chose to only bring in one portal OL for a visit, also a problem. Did Texas offer to match or beat Oregons offer? If neither then that is also a problem.
  6. Combination of both and if rumors are true, not having ultimate say so in your starting 5
  7. Because it doesn’t matter who the OL coach is.
  8. Eh, the only one I'd say was significant improvement was Jones. Majors and Conner, in my opinion, were the same as they were when they were younger.
  9. Just to confirm the Clemson OL that had 2016: Mitch Hyatt(3x 1st team All-ACC, consensus AA(2018), and 2x Jacob's blocking winner) started 2016/2018 title Taylor Hearn(3rd team All conference) Jay Guillermo(2x All ACC, including 1st team selection in 2016) Tyrone Crowder(2x All ACC, including 1st team selection in 2016) Sean Pollard(started as true freshmen in national championship, arguably the weakest OL of the starters in the NC game) 2018: Mitch Hyatt - See above John Simpson - 2 time al ACC(3rd team 2018, 1st team 2019, consensus All American in 2019) Justin Falcinelli(honorable mention all American 2017, 1st team all ACC 2017, 2nd team all ACC 2018) Gage Cervenka(ended up 2nd team all conference in 2019) Tremayne Anchrum -(2x all conference, 2nd team 2018, 1st team 2019)
  10. So we are going to roll into next year with a bad offensive line again? That sounds dumb on Sark. Will we hear again this off season how great the line has looked and them completely no show?
  11. Unfortunate. I don’t view him as a good prospect. Looks like the average we have put out there.
  12. Max Wright should be processed and likely flipping anyway
  13. I personally hope we run nothing from either Georgia game last year because it didn’t really work and won’t work with this team.
  14. I feel like if a g6 team isn’t ranked they shouldn’t get a spot. I feel like the rules specifically state ranked where as if none this year are ranked they shouldn’t be part of the tournament
  15. Depends on what offense we run. If we run Sarks traditional offense that’s more compact and tight you can do both effectively because it’s easier to do so. If he’s running the more spread offense that he ran vs Vandy which fits our personnel better it’s harder for teams to simulate the pressure because they can’t disguise it as well
  16. We’re 3/4 of the way through the season. We know what this team is at this point.
  17. It’s been pouring rain all day, they are down their top 3 wide receivers due to injury.
  18. Why? Georgia is a really good team. I never understood why people on this site were so dismissive of them.
  19. You absolutely nailed it!
  20. Penn St went to conservative on offense and now playing the prevent you from winning defense.
  21. I disagree. Quinn was excellent pre snap at adjusting to what he was seeing with the line and knowing where to go with the ball. Which meant the ball came out quickly. A QB who can get the ball out quickly and process would have made the line look less bad than they are. Arch’s problems were that he wasn’t recognizing pre or post snap where to go and was holding ball a long time and/or delivering late. And no QB will be good when they’re getting hitting within a second of the snap.
