  1. My thought is Texas is going for a guy thet they believe can be an NFL player after a year, and for sure starter level player!
  2. Two key targets remain at the top of the board right now ... Brandon Garrison, C, Oklahoma City (Ok.) Del City - *Oklahoma State transfer Garrison is scheduled to visit Arkansas this weekend. Not the news Texas, OU and OkState were hoping to hear last weekend. Garrison played in 32 games as a true freshman in 2023-24, including 29 starts. He averaged 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 blocks in his first season. He connected on 57.2% from the field and 64.8% from the foul line. Note: If Garrison were to choose Oklahoma or stay at Oklahoma State, it would be due to a family closeness requirement. Rytis Petraitis, F, Arlington (Texas) Oak Ridge - *Air Force transfer The 6-7, 210 pound offensively skilled forward is likely to decide between Texas and California. Petraitis took a big step up in 2023-24 for Air Force averaging 15.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists on 48.5% from the field, 34.9% from three (22 makes) and 65.8% from the free throw line. 11. BTW, looks like Brandon Garrison will visit Arkansas this weekend - as of today. That's not the most comforting news for Texas, OU or OkState. We shall see what happens.
  12. He's a PF defensively. Offensively, he's not capable of being asked to do much of anything. He's a paint player PF. If Texas gets Brandon Garrison, they are done at big. Jayson Kent will play a lot of college four for Texas next year.
  13. Texas will take one more big if things hold ... Brandon Garrison is the top choice.
