  1. Duke upgraded at QB with the Tulane transfer Darian Mensah IMO
  2. SEC ... just so many high-end players all across the board. Conference may have 60+ NFL draft picks this season, but it get it

  4. Feeling is Texas needs more of a blocker at the position, but we will check on him
  5. Too early on that ... there is some big game hunting ... got to see who jumps in
  6. That's hilarious lol
  7. Streamyard is having a server outage/issue ... we are trying to work around it. Apologies
  8. Definitely can see Tennessee and Ohio State providing some of that. They have some singular players, and a defensive front that can create some issues. Georgia is just on another front 7 level because of the backers. I may be wrong, but Oregon is just not good on D. Given up 30+ on all three opponents in the CFP.
  9. Quality safety prior to injury this season https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/4683155/jalen-stroman
  10. Haven't head that yet ... the Purdue safety has gotten a look from Texas though
  11. This kid can roll ... someone will get a 10.6 guy that won over the top in the SEC as a freshman https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/5079345/mario-craver
  12. That one places more pressure on A&M to get experience with enough talent out of the portal.
  13. Good Q. Rumors ... a couple of which I don't believe unless it actually happens (similar to the Michigan DT's last year)
  14. Great to have you as part of the OTF community!
  15. I agree. The dropped INT ... shallow crosser is a first down or right at the sticks after catching on the move and seeing the sticks. Those plays have to be made against a Georgia level opponent ... or in a crucial situation in the RZ. Thing with Quinn is since he's not a playmaker with his feet, he has only one option to be a RZ playmaker. Has to see it, and make the throw with ball placement. Just very little margin for error.
  16. I hope Quinn gets it done! The question is .. is Georgia the only team that can affect Quinn to this level because their front seven is tremendous
  17. Don't disagree. Quinn's had tough luck with injuries dating back to high school.
  18. Just me, but you don't have to make SP Top 10 throws if you make the reads, have ball placement and be a playmaker in the RZ
  19. I didn't say he shouldn't be drafted or won't be drafted. He absolutely will. What I said, was if I was an NFL decision maker for a team... he wouldn't be my guy to draft at the position. I hope Quinn gets it done in the playoffs, Texas wins an NC and Quinn has a great career. With all that said, it's a playmakers position at the end of the day. When the s&!t hits the fan, it's what defines the position ... playmaking. And playmaking is at a premium in the red zone more than anywhere else in a sport when the going gets very tough. I truly hope Quinn delivers when Texas has to have the QB make the play.
  20. Quinn threw a terrific pass to Golden. The Georgia DB made a great play to help cause that incompletion too. I agree Texas can win the title. But if a singular game comes down to Texas in the red zone and Quinn having to make the play/throw to win it ... he has to deliver to get it done. Because he hasn't in that situation in the most meaningful games of his career to this point.
  21. Glad Texas got serious in NiL on the DL. It took time for Sark to adjust, but so glad he did.
  22. 2 of 10 in the red zone for 5 yards with a dropped INT. When he needed to put the team on his back to deliver the winning throw in the red zone ... DID NOT HAPPEN. Same as Washington. It's a team sport, yes. We all agree. QB's are separated by the ones who get it done in the clutch, or when the chips are down and their team needs them the most. Why do you think Texas fans believe they would win every game with Vince? Because he would make the play when you absolutely had to have to win a game. Same question for Pat Mahomes. Same question for Brett Farve. I can go on and on and on. Look, I hope Quinn delivers in that situation in the playoffs ... he didn't against Washington and he didn't Saturday ... when his team needed him to make one red zone throw to win the game. We aren't going to agree on this, and it's all good.
