Should the move happen ... Texas has to hire a terrific offensive coach. Buzz is a solid coach, but not what Texas currently needs IMO.

We differ on this a little. Indiana will be a top 3-4 NIL college hoops program ... they are set up to truly compete with the correct HC. Interested to see where it goes

This chore is a tough one tonight in Austin with No. 2 Alabama (20-3, 9-1) in Austin. The Longhorns (15-9, 4-7) will again be without junior guard Chendall Weaver with his return likely next week. Senior guard Tramon Mark has been upgraded to probable. The game will tip-off at 8 p.m. central on ESPN.

Mater Dei 5-star TE Mark Bowman told OnTexasFootball late last night that he does plan to make an official visit to Texas, but hasn't locked in the date yet as the family is navigating the June scheduled. OTF believes the OV will be either June 13 or June 20, as of today. The 6-foot-4.5, 225-pound playmaking tight end is likely to come down to Texas vs. Georgia with Oregon a likely third team seriously in the race all the way until the end. Bowman's father has ties to the Lone Star State, and they have been in Austin for an unofficial visit in the last few months. The family is expected in Austin for UOV this spring as well. Bowman recently reclassified from the 2027 class to 2026. He holds more than 30 offers. He hauled in 32 receptions for 435 yards and eight touchdowns in 2024.

Texas setting up an OV now was not expected. Texas told Keys he has to make an UOV before they would schedule an OV. He's never been on campus. Same as Ffrench last cycle. He and family visited in the spring, and OV in June.

Problem is ASU was giving him $600K for NIL for the two seasons prior to this one. He had very little chance to build a roster to compete in the Big 12... If fired, he will get another gig and likely do pretty well IMO. HE is starting to get players now that he went and raised 2mill plus in NIL

If I was Virginia, he would be on my list honestly. I'm a fan of his fit in the college game

Want to be clear ... 1. I'm not saying anything with certainty. A lot of season remaining that has to play out 2. Sean Miller was going to be the hire before Texas won the Sweet 16 game and made the Elite 8. I'm hearing a lot of Miami chatter with him (and Cronin)

He's lost so many key assistants since the build of the nC roster ... Grant McCaslin, Jakus at FAU, Alvin Brooks III went to Kentucky, etc...
