  1. Very good player. Would be a quality two deep rotational player for sure. Not saying Texas will win out, but the staff really likes him.
  2. Texas is going to be on this one … from the Houston area https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/stats/_/id/4683535/tyler-onyedim
  3. Of note … possibly
  4. Good Q lol
  5. Yes he is. Power 4 offers ... 4-star prospect in 2026 ... former varsity soccer player too ... very good feet on him ... going to be an RPO dude in college and plays on the move very well with fluidity ... 6-2.5, 200'ish I'm a pretty big fan
  6. Georgia is going to pummel the ND OL Anyone think it's 50-50 Riley Leonard survives the game? He was under way too much duress vs. Indiana ... those plays he made/avoided big hits Friday are going to be more physical contact plays vs. Georgia IMO Georgia may struggle to score ... but there is a pretty big talent advantage for the Dawgs. Thinking 20-10'ish type game... Love may make some plays at RB.
  7. And agree with this too. I have ND because they have better players, and at key positions. They are a blue blood in the trenches, and have good players around it - even with some tough injury luck at spots this season.
  8. I concur if the weather is a big factor at game time
  9. Texas hasn't been told no by Singleton, as of last night.
  10. Portal Note USC transfers Zachariah and Zion Branch are visiting Georgia, and are also currently expected at Arizona State this weekend at some point. Texas is a visit possibility as well, but a key with this portal recruitment will be where the family sees Zion's fit at the same school - barring a major change. Oregon is also on the list, somewhere. Zachariah Branch wants his brother taken care of from an NIL perspective, so there are some layers to this programs will have to make decisions on.
  11. CFP Round 1 is here ... Friday No. 10 Indiana at No. 7 Notre Dame TV: ABC at 7 pm CST Line: ND -7 O/U: 51.5 Saturday No. 11 SMU at No. 6 Penn State TV: TNT at 11 am CST Line: Penn State -8.5 O/U: 53.5 No. 9 Tennessee at No. 8 Ohio State TV: ABC at 7 pm CST Line: Ohio State -7.5 O/U: 45.5 And Tulane and Florida go at it for thos not watching Texas high school state championship games.
  12. I don't necessarily disagree that his timing would be right to get out now ... but I don't know if he's a realistic HC hire right now... I tend to say no, but could be wrong.
  13. 34-20 Texas
  14. You are going to have to pay both NIL to get them, and the likely asking price will be high to get both ... and Zion Branch wouldn't necessarily be a lock to be a top 4 safety for Texas next season IMO. Zion Branch has missed a lot of time with injury, and is just not considered the same level prospect he was coming out of HS. Would be tough to get ROI in this type of package deal IMO
  15. Hellacious conference
  16. I agree on the majority of portal recruitments ... This one may be a little different. Has Ole Miss and Miami thrown in the towel then?
  17. As a WR by himself, love Zach Branch. Them together ... totally different recruitment for a Texas.
  18. Not until mid-January at earliest ... last I asked. Will double check
  19. This season will all come down to ... can Texas score the ball at a high enough clip in the SEC. I have my doubts - as of today. Texas is not putting enough pressure on quality opponents off the ball. All the defense and rebounding talk won't make a s&%t if you can't score the ball in the 70's consistently in conference play. Even if you play really good D in theory ... the SEC top tier teams are going to score 70+ ... can you match? This is all about the ability to score in the 70's to win games, and even in the low 80's on occasion when pushed to the max.
  20. Two portal RB's ... There have been questions if the Longhorns would have interest in a running back out of the portal. OnTexasFootball can say that both USC (Manor High) transfer Quentin Joyner and Alabama transfer Justice Haynes have been in contact with Texas per a solid source. That doesn't mean that Texas is for sure pushing for a RB out of the portal, but Tashard Choice and Steve Sarkisian are at least entertaining the idea. Ohio State and Oregon are among those interested in both, as well. Joyner has visited Ohio State. Haynes also has Ole Miss, South Carolina and Michigan on the list. Ole Miss and South Carolina will receive visits this week.
  21. Cole Bott for three, more than once, in the closing minutes of this one
