  1. He weighed 268 on OV to Texas in June. 270 at Stanford in June.
  2. Jeff Howe and I published an OnTexasBasketball video Friday. We had GASO's Blue Zertuche and Ryan Massad on to talk about top Texas targets in 2026 and 2027 Both of these guys are friends, and the entire GASO team truly does a great job covering and helping grow high school basketball in the state. They also run tournaments and events extremely well. We talk Austin Goosby, Bo Ogden, Bryson Howard, Dawson Battie, Marcus Spears Jr., Reese Alston and Ryan Hampton
  3. Have a story on that this morning
  4. 4-star+ WR Kaydon Finley to Notre Dame That one is now official.
  5. Potentially Monday … but in recruiting could change
  6. Ojo has texted a Texas coach today. No phone call as of noon
  7. Still see a top 5 level class. Texas will likely be ranked anywhere from 6-9 when the ball is kicked to begin the 2025 season, and Texas' class will have a lot of runway
  8. Texas didn't push late for Calicut, Someone asked which prospects Texas didn't push for late ... I would say NIL match late. Calicut Simeon Texas isn't pushing for Bryce Perry-Wright ... OTF has reported that numerous times. The commitment of Richard Wesley meant Texas wasn't going to push on BP-W. Xavier Griffin wasn't coming to Texas when Tyler Atkinson was brought in for an OV ... so not sure how one calculates that. But OTF reported multiple times that was going to be the case. Texas absolutely wanted Ezavier Crowell, Malakai Lee, Kendall Guervil and Trenton Henderson. Texas will hang around those through senior year.
  9. There will always be someone that feels that way, and I can tell you I don't give a rip. Coaches leave jobs for another, and many times it breaks on social media before the players are told. And it happens that way because the coach doesn't want the news to leak out early.
  10. Turntine III junior HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/v/2QStkx
  11. We are starting to see more of it. There have been several in this cycle that have done that. Just me, but if I was a prospect and wanted to have my announcement I would do the same or not tell the teams until 15-20 mins prior. The news always trickles out from the ones that don’t get the player 95% of the time. Now, I would take the time to call the remaining staffs from the final few after the announcement and say thank you and whatever else a player wants to … in case things change. It’s not a popular opinion , but I don’t have a problem with someone trying to keep the lid on their news as much as possible.
  12. He's going to be all over the place ... like his recruitment IMO But there will be bigger NIL offers he will have to turn down to commit to Texas
  13. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45609055/sleeper-players-college-football-top-25-teams-2025
  14. Blame Blake, Bobby, Producer Matt, Rod, CJ, Bob Shipley and Jeff Howe for that
  15. What if the difference over two years is one million dollars? That is life changing for his kid. Hard for a parent to say "nope you can't do that".
  16. Texas was a distant third. They have moved up. But Lott would have to pick Texas over a higher NIL bid by the Ducks (they have a big one out there for him)
  17. 4-star++ Jalen Lott update Texas is trying to make up ground in the race for 4-star++ WR Jalen Lott (Frisco, Texas/Panther Creek). Steve Sarkisian and multiple staff members have been in constant contact with the family this week. USC and Oregon had considerably higher NIL offers out to the Texas legacy as of late last weekend. Texas has now stepped up to where it’s a competitive race. Lott is scheduled to make his announcement July 8. If OnTexasFootball were handicapping the race on July 1: 1. Oregon 2. Texas 🔼 3. USC 🔽
