  1. Any DL that gets called for holding has a special place on my list
  2. It's so much instant gratification in the portal rankings ... And totally agree with No. 2 ... Johntay Cook being ranked in any portal ranking is absurd.
  3. Melvin told me he doesn't have a June OV set up as of Saturday. It's a possibility.
  4. I like Klatt and his approach I’m one that believes LaNorris Sellers should be higher on all these lists, but my concern is SoCar can’t put the dudes around him on offense
  5. Yes. He’s very good and will rise in the rankings … but here is the but … Texas leads for OT Turntine, OT Ojo and OT/IOL Roseborough . Texas right there for Krempin And Texas loves Malakai Lee. Sam Utu is another that Texas wouldn’t turn down. It’s all going to come down to how the dominoes fall … timing for guys making decisions.
  6. No guaranteed bye’s in this last year of the 12 team playoff. As it should be. Committee will rank 1-12, and that’s how it will play out. https://x.com/brett_mcmurphy/status/1925614012387270758?s=46
  7. I have been saying no. Don't think they should be, but doesn't mean they won't remain independent.
  8. All depends on how the dominoes fall. There could be a that scenario play out. Or there could be the scenario that Texas gets to 5 before one of them makes a decision, and Texas doesn't make as much sense as three months prior.
  9. 4-star RB Carsyn Baker (Fairburn, Ga./Langston Hughes) is also a possibility for a June OV.
  10. And on 5-star RB Derrek Cooper (Hollywood, Fla./Chaminade-Madonna) ... Cooper still plans to make a June OV to Texas. OTF believes it will be a mid-week OV barring a change.
  11. Nope! Texas wants two ... see if they get the two they want.
  12. OV note on 4-star+ RB K.J. Edwards OnTexasFootball has learned that Carthage High 4-star+ running back K.J. Edwards has changed his Texas OV date to June 20-22. He was originally scheduled to OV June 6-8. Texas leads for Edwards.
  13. 5-star LB Tyler Atkinson visit note OnTexasFootball exchanged messages with a source very close to 5-star linebacker Tyler Atkinson (Loganville, Ga./Grayson). The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder is currently planning to make a visit to Texas again prior to making a decision. When will that visit happen, OTF is waiting to hear exactly. Texas has been by the school this month. Georgia is considered the favorite with Ohio State, Clemson, Auburn and Alabama also mentioned frequently. OTF considers this recruitment a long shot, as of today.
  14. Harder to pull a kid from Norman, Okl. Different level of hate IMO If a Baton Rouge kid goes to Texas, not as bad as going to Bama in the Saban era … that was wry similar vitriol
  15. Strong @Glass Joe ... does Oregon have high-end DL talent? Im not so sure
  16. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45026603/ranking-best-coaches-college-football-2025
  17. Closest thing to a female Steph Curry we will see ... she's a dynamic talent because of her otherworldly shooting ability with range and then court vision combination. She is a walking floor spacer.
  18. The question was brought up on Sunday night livestream ... so wanted to get the opinion/pulse of the OTF community How would you guys rank the most talented football rosters headed in the 2025 season? The teams in contention for top 5 IMO ... Texas Penn State Clemson Ohio State Oregon Georgia Alabama LSU Notre Dame And ... the second part of the Q was would Oklahoma be in the top 10?
  19. All depends on if Texas pushes But Texas leads for Kendall Guervil headed into June visits… that’s a potential roadblock for Berymon and Texas
  20. I went by there when they were 4A ... same lol
  21. They haven't had many FBS kids of late. But aren't void of talent
  22. Definitely Texas being up 17-0 at A&M. Then winning 17-7. The A&M build up after all the years of not playing plus year one in the SEC was fever pitch. And there was a lot on the line in the game. Texas win was a tone setter for UT athletics domination of the Aggies in the return of the hated-rivalry
