  1. Texas commitment injury update OnTexasFootball stopped by Shadow Creek High earlier this week to check on 4-star wide receiver commit Chris Stewart. Stewart was not at practice the day I stopped by. He was at a shoulder doctor getting looked at. The 6-foot, 175-pounder injured his shoulder in the season opener August 29, took a little time off, and came back against Manvel High September 19. Since that time, the injury has flared back up. The next few games are in doubt for the Houston area senior. No word on if a shoulder procedure will be needed, as of Thursday afternoon. Stewart has 14 receptions for 252 yards and a TD, plus two returns for TD's in parts of three games this season.
  2. His oldest son is a sophomore at Kinkaid ... 5-10, 165'ish. Plays some on varsity. He likes hoops more, or did in middle school See if he develops late.
  3. Texas 23-17
  4. This is actually really good, funny because of Spurrier over the years and informative for those that don't know the history. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/46379254/haters-arch-manning-texas-longhorns-florida-gators
  5. How about these? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DT0kRBpZ7P8
  6. Accuracy is close!
  7. I saw Mateer at Love's Truck Stop in OKC opening a big canister of Robertson's Beef Jerkey with his surgically fixed throw hand. No stress in the twist of the lid. 100% playing.
  8. Well done with the original post! Love it And you knew Texas Tech would offer ... they can't let the future inheritance of a few billion leave the family. Would be one of the dumbest recruiting blunders of all-time
  9. Texas will be looking in portal at LB regardless IMO. Too heavy of losses coming. Will likely need an experienced guy to rotate with young talent
  10. Got that Kellen Wiley from the 2025 cycle rise going!
  11. Greatness!
  12. Yeah. Luckily, Sark owns Lanning on the trail
  13. Hodge senior HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/video/3/14932229/68c7952f1b6bea0440012aee
  14. 4-star LB Braylon Hodge schedules four official visits Current Michigan state 4-star linebacker pledge Braylon Hodge (Englewood, Co./Cherry Creek) has scheduled four official visits following his unofficial visit to Texas, and new offers in the last week. The 6-foot-3, 212-pound rangy 'backer will make OV's to Michigan this weekend, Oregon October 11-12, Missouri November 8-9 and Texas November 22-23. Texas is considered the favorite of the four entering the official visit phase of the recruitment. National signing day is December 3, 2025. The early signing period runs through 11:59 p.m. December 5.
  15. Garrett N. rough one for him. Just so late and inaccurate Saturday, when they needed him to play very well... on road against quality opponent, and with Caden Durham out.
  16. Dante Moore is very good Coaches not taking the points is now my forever pet peeve in football. F the analytics. The sport needs coaches to start coaching more with game management sense again. It's really bad right now.
  17. For sure. He's recruited a few that NBA and college fans will know: Lauri Markkanen Deandre Ayton Aaron Gordon Christian Koloko Zeke Nnaji Had very good international success in that regard too.
  18. Texas wants Dre Quinn bad. He was a top 3 EDGE on the board the whole way with Richard Wesley and Trenton Henderson. And I like Texas chances.
  19. Couple of Q's with a 2027 QB for Texas 1. Would you "overpay" if forced for a QB that won't likely see the field for two years? 2. Any 2027 QB considering Texas will have to be comfortable with the possibility of not playing for two years, and being more on the development side early on solely. Don't think too many guys will think like that.
  20. Guess we see what @Joe Zuradid for his birthday Thursday ... trolled the Sooners. Pretty heady stuff coming from a Duck
  21. For 2026? Nope. Texas really likes their young guys on the OL. If they can flip Malakai Lee, that's the one.
  22. Not going to Honolulu this week. The hope is to get Lee back on campus in November with Kamehameha High regular season ending in late October.
