    I may be alone but I’ll be fairly shocked if Texas doesn’t take a couple of linemen in the portal. You simply cannot replicate what happened this year in Manning’s final season in Austin. Hope is not an answer and that’s what Texas would be doing.

    Boley completed 31 of 39 passes (79%) for 258 yards, a career-high completion percentage Boley has 10 TDs and 7 picks on the season. He looked pedestrian against everyone else on the schedule minus maybe Tenn but he had to throw it 50 plus times being down so much.

    Texas won’t win out so you won’t have to worry about it. I’m hoping we can pull off 2/3 with the secondary I’ve watched get torched by Kent, Vandy and Miss St. Also our Oline isn’t good enough. They were better against Vanderbilt but Smart/Georgia will present a much different problem. This is also assuming Sarkisian will stay in 11 and away from 12 while the Manning step forward is a real thing.

    Good post and ageee. I do not feel good about our secondary right now. I only feel marginally better about the Oline. Those two spots are weaknesses. Georgia will exploit them. Texas will have to play an A- game at worsr. We need a Sarkisian 2023 Alabama special.

    He’s to similar to Kosi Okpala. I don’t think so. It would surprise me if they did. They need a true off the ball LB to go with Atkinson.

    Are you that clueless when it comes to football that the first instinct is to blame officiating? So the hold kept our guys from doing their job in coverage and what they were hopefully coached to do? Maybe…just maybe if they did their job in the back end there was no where to throw the ball regardless of them being held? Good gosh.

    Their combined record of who they have played is 6-20 and no one with a winning record in conference. Three of them have fired their coach.

    Inexcusable at the goal line and situation. Should have called TO then if we were that clueless in a situation that screams deep coverage. It was a 10 point game and the game would have been completely iced.

    Kiffin offense is better. Program builder is Sark but it’s not as wide as the offensive production is right now.

    That’s more like it. I do not see Aggy as a better job than Penn St. Tradition wise it’s not close. At Penn St he’s the beast of the East and the lead dog in a prime state. A$M is and will always be 2nd fiddle to Texas and in the region. LSU and OU have more clout. Elko is from New Jersey and played at Penn. I wonder if he would get a look and wants to go home. A Penn St white out night game takes a backseat to no one.

    If OU can run the ball our defense isn’t what we think it is at all. Florida ran on us last year and has Jaden Baugh. OU hasn’t run on anyone. Their only runner is Mateer. You spy him and rough him up. OU sucks at running the ball. OU should be one dimensional organically. I am wanting our pass rush and coverage to improve more. That’s what we truly need. We gave up so many yards to run after catch. Lagway was on one leg and we couldn’t get after him enough to make them pay for dropping back. Need Muhammad back and a pass rush that was glazed repeatedly all off season to show up with their own 6 sack game. The Texas pass rush is being paged.
