    This only tells how unbelievably weak this years field is and how pitiful it is when Texas doesn’r make it. Texas is 3rd to last in the league and is only3 games over .500 at 17-14. That’s a tourney team? That’s straight garbage.

    It should have 3-2 over the last 5. Texas was favored to do that. Getting clapped by a league win less South Carolina by 15 was no bueno. OU is a must win. A loss daggers rhem. A win gives them a 50/50 shot imo. The bubble is one of the weakest in recent memory. I mean Texas at 18-13 and 4 games below 500 even being mentioned says it all.

    I could see Drew going to Indiana. He’s from the state I believe. Could be a dream job of sorts. I think he’s maxed out and getting a little stale at Baylor. He had an incredible run there.

    Quin Snyder may be more realistic than people think. He’s not tearing it up in Atlanta. Coaches get fired quickly in that league or the seat gets hot.

    I’m not calling for it to be Nate Oates. Will Texas get a really good coach that some believe will possibly be out of reach? I do believe in CDC to get that done. He pledged to Beard and he’ll do it for someone else too.

    Good post. People should be looking at this more. CDC is the guy now. Quit looking at what Texas has done before him. CDC did go after one of the best coaches and paid him like it. He will do this again. The Texas won’t commit thing doesn’t compute with me while CDC is AD. CDC is at his best lurking in the shadows being stealth. He will make a move and get it done. I’m calling this now.

    Not a good post. Texas is top 15 all time in tourney appearances and all time wins. That’s not a crap program. Texas has been consistently pretty good to good with an occasional great team. Terry has been average. his entire career. Top 15 out of over 300 programs in D1 isn’t average. This program has put a lot of guys in the NBA over the last 20 years.

    Losing to an 0-13 team in conference by 15 and it was worse much of the time. Embarrassing loss coming off a week of prep. RT should be done. Texas isn’t winning in Fayetteville or Starkville. NIL will change with a different coach that people believe in. It only takes one to make a big difference. Texas has the BMDs to make this happen.

    I would think Texas has a better than 50/50 shot of going 3-2. South Carolina is last in the SEC. Georgia is one of the worst teams and we get them at home. We beat OU on the road so that means we will likely be favored to beat them in Austin. I do not expect to beat Miss St or Ark. That would be found money. Beating Miss St would be big.
