  1. The true issue is, There is something about the offense Sark doesn’t trust. What seems to happen is When the offense puts together drives it keeps the defense fresh. When the defense is fresh we don’t have to go as far down the depth chart and the front end defenders seem to play better. Of course the 3 and outs start and the defense seems tired. At some point Sark has to go with his BEST run blocking line, call less deep shots and take what the defense gives him.. that formula will have us playing for a while. If Arch is the problem then take the problem out as the center piece of the game plan. Use and rotate backs behind your best run blocking line
  2. 2023,2024 we were clamoring for a QB who could move and avoid sacks. Well we have that , but he doesn’t see the field or hit layup touchdowns. Texas has had receivers running wide open the last two years. Bobby, Gerry and most of OTF anointed this group as possibly the best set of WRs in the country. I don’t believe they have regressed. Arch hasn’t threw for more than 200 yards in the past two games(with protection). So at some point we have to be honest about who/what he is. If we are honest there are a number of “decent” QBs when given the talent Arch is surrounded by who would look like day 1 draft picks. If we see it then his teammates have to. I’m hoping that Arch can take a long look and realize what he is good at and play his game. Because if not Siani, Coleman, Smothers , and Brown will be wasted money. His last name has given him grace his play hasn’t earned. 21 point 4th quarter comeback!! Great; but if he read the field better we would have never been down 21 points. Not just on Arch Sark has to play receivers who can beat man coverage!! Forget a circle of trust. If he can’t get out of his own way and play the talent he has regardless of class then Sark will build a winner that someone else takes to the mountain top.
  3. I keep seeing the misconception (in my opinion) that Ohio State choked the game away. I’m of the mindset that If Texas would have played a clean game then the 4th quarter is a microcosm of what the entire game would have looked like. Also it might be time for Arch to allow other receivers to play. Lockett, Kohen Brown, 5th year transfer(his name escapes me). Wingo bad play is tarting to outweigh his good. He got drove backwards on the first play leading to the ball being kicked out of Raleeks hands. Several times he looked lost and he has the drops… This team is too talented to let a recruiting promise to ANY player including Arch stop them from reaching their potential
  4. I was not necessarily pleased with the run game last week. I felt there were not enough urgency in the players upfront. I’ve thought for years that Flood is stubborn and doesn’t play his best 5 at their best positions all the time. I always felt Campbell would have been an All-American center. With that said I didn’t see world beaters playing for Ohio St. so I’m going to hope that we reserved something for this week. Same for the DLine I expected Jackson to be pulled for health reason by the 3rd. Them I’ll give benefit of doubt. Texas 34 OSU 24
  5. My question is how come Flood gets to keep his job. He hasn’t done anything that warrants it. Only legit player he produced was Kelvin Banks and I doubt if that was a lot about Flood. Goolsby had elite traits. What else has he done here?? He can’t take credit for Bijan, JBrooks or any other talented back that we’ve had. Players clearly looked at their OL coach and Flood and chose theirs
