    I think Edwards is a lock, but you never know in this era of recruiting with NIL. They'll take two for sure. Would be shocked if they didn't, but there's always the portal if they don't

    Don't know who they'll sign. Too early to tell, but if you get 2 of those 3, that would be a helluva of an OL haul. Then you have another loaded HS OL class in the '27 cycle. Texas' trenches will be set for years to come.

    Men’s basketball got a big human from overseas. Men’s tennis lost to TCU in the Final Four.

    Gut feeling is with some NIL support they either get Griffin or Atkinson. Either one would be an amazing pickup for Texas. Pair one of them with Brayden Rouse or Kosi Okpala and you’re cooking with gas.

    Did Drew Brees drop a bag lol? If that happens, you might be able to snag him in the portal in a year or two like Cole Brevard. Will be a good player although Purdue’s team overall won’t be. Texas might make a stronger push for Lamar Brown if Berymon chooses Purdue. Plus you still have guys like Valdin Sone, Kendall Guervil, James Johnson, Jaimeon Winfield out there. Recruiting in the NIL era is interesting

    Had an OU fan tell me Texas has been to the CWS almost twice as much as LSU and USC but still have less titles than both so it's not impressive.

    Love seeing players encouraging guys to come to Texas. A far cry from where this program was 5 years ago.

    Already in the top 25 in recruiting rankings and it's only mid May. The last two seasons have really paid dividends on the trail. Guys are wanting to jump in earlier and earlier. I have a feeling most of this class will be wrapped up by October at this rate, especially if Texas gets off to a strong start on the field beating Ohio State, Florida and Oklahoma along the way.

    Because he wants to stay here and make Texas the next Bama. Bama already has Bryant and Saban etched in their history. His legacy would be greater if he did it at Texas than Bama. Like Dabo building Clemson into the juggernaut it was from 2015-2020 or Kirby from 2021-2023.
