  1. That's what I'm thinking too. Gotta find a way to get Niblett and Butler's speed on the field in some way so they don't portal out after this upcoming season. Could have Jonah as a PR and have Niblett and Butler back there as KRs like Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman or Devin Hester and Johnny Knox back in the day. Jeff Banks and Matt Moran have so many options to make both PR and KR more lethal in 2025. That's why I think they didn't want to use that last scholarship spot on a return specialist from the portal.
  2. Btw imagine if a story like this broke and Peyton Manning was the starting QB for the Ravens. He certainly didn't bite his tongue here lol
  3. So you’re saying BV will be fired after 2025 and there could be a mass exodus of players that are replaced with players that don’t understand the importance of that game?
  4. This punt return, though not for a TD, was pretty sweet in Dallas. Glad it wasn’t called back due to a random hold or block in the back. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wBvgVV_TbRI
  5. D Moore seems like a lock for being the KR. I’d love to see a healthy Jonah Williams as the PR, but I think Niblett gets the nod due to being more experienced.
  6. Because the guy(s) that pay(s) them are not on the field making those plays. It makes sense. Most people I know watch these games to watch the players, not the coaches or front office executives (Nico Harrison might have something to say about that though).
  7. Given his size, not saying he'll be this good, but he reminds me of Jonathan Allen.
  8. Dare I say they could surpass having Mayfield and Murray back to back? With the added bonus of being homegrown players for Texas and not transfers from Tech and A&M.
  9. If Texas wins this recruitment, I guess you could call them the Kreul school.
  10. Is this guy planning on reclassifying to ‘26 or will he remain a ‘27 prospect?
  11. So Texas has five scholarship QBs on the roster. Arch Manning, Trey Owens, Karle Lacey, Joe Tatum, and now Matthew Caldwell.
  12. Translation: We can’t keep our 5-star culture going without a 5-star NIL budget.
  13. Very good in state RB prospect, but the staff has prioritized KJ Edwards, Derrek Cooper, Amari Latimer, and Ezavier Crowell over him in the last few months. Texas will get the two RBs they want by December early signing day. Good luck to him, unless he’s playing Texas.
  14. Sean Miller was certainly paying attention to how Pop built those Spurs teams during his heyday and seems to be using that same blueprint for Texas men's basketball. We'll see if it works out. But yes, regardless of whether you agree or disagree with his political stance or if he should even be discussing it so openly, Gregg Popovich the head coach is right up there with Red Auerbach, Pat Riley, Larry Brown, and Phil Jackson as one of the great head coaches in NBA history. His team's consistency from the 1998-99 lockout shortened season to the 2016-17 season is something that is unlikely to happen ever again.
  15. While it doesn't sting as much, the 2005 game still lives rent free in my head. JJ Redick could not be stopped back then.
  16. 3 years of Arch as the starting QB at Texas, assuming no major injuries and he lives up to the hype, could help this program ascend to heights it has never seen before, even in the DKR era. The "no one does less with more" narrative could be shed forever with Texas football.
  17. Ask Bill Belichick about the importance of long snappers in today’s football. Attention to detail.
  18. Jim Nagy is shopping at Dollar Tree
  19. We've seen this happen in college football. Think Gene Chizik, Ed Orgeron, etc.
  20. And only hit a third of them on low volume. Would not be my first choice, but she was a true freshman, so you would think she will develop into a better perimeter shooter over the next few years.
  21. Played one season at UCF. Here are her stats.
  22. I hope he does as well.
  23. More competitive pressure on Vic if OU grabs her to pair with Chavez and gets to a natty game before Vic does during his time at Texas, but I'm sure Vic understands that. Like Nick Saban preached to Sark at Bama, adapt your offense or die.
