    Sounds great in theory, but players that can play both positions effectively for a full season don't grow on trees. Travis Hunter, Deion Sanders, Troy Brown, Charles Woodson are all names that come to mind for me.

    Samples is a "splash" hire and fantastic recruiter, but I'm not sold on his ability to coach and develop RBs long term.

    Sark has proven he not only develops players, but coaches as well. He has a plan and he has not given me any doubt this hire will be any different.

    Saban lost to UAB in year 1 at LSU and lost to ULM in year 1 at Bama. This loss is not of that magnitude and different sports, but gotta give the man time.

    Best case scenario is they go 9-3 with another 30+ blowout loss in Dallas, but their overall record is good enough to keep BV there for '26. 9-3 would mean they barely miss the playoffs, their fans drink a lot of crimson Kool Aid next offseason, and Joe Castiglione decides to run it back with BV.
