    It probably doesn't matter, but why do you have Jonah as the backup to McDonald and Black as the backup to Williams, Jr? I would have thought it would be the other way around.

    Yep, that's Juan Gonzalez. I still remember imitating his stance when I was in Little League. I would also do the Catholic sign of the cross across my chest just like him before I stepped into the batter's box.

    He'll be on the team this season. With the new 5 years to play 5 rule, he'd lose a whole year of pay. He's not passing up up whatever NIL he's receiving to sit out. And he's too important to the depth for the coaches to let him walk
