    That's definitely part of it. They mentioned that OSU has many noon games and they don't complain too much. But the guy got real serious when one of the commenters then said playing at noon against Texas shouldn't be a big deal. He said it means a least six points to OSU. Then he said the deal about Arch Manning.

    I'm saying Kobe was the best basketball player in the world during the NBA Finals in 2000. Watch the game four tape, CJ. Larry Bird said Kobe was the best player in the world in after the game. Bird has some credibility because he was the best player in the world from 1981-1984. He was 25 when he became the best.

    You talkin one sweep against ten. Where does this crap come from? Lakers were swept by the Sixers in the 1983 NBA Finals. Lakers beat the Sixers in two out of three Finals in 80s. Lakers beat the Celtics in two out of three Finals in the 80s. One year doesn't erase fifty years. Saying that, Brick sucks.

    Reminds me of Bobby warning Gerry not to go too far in saying Collin Simmons might be the best defensive player in "college" football. I mean hell. Arch better be the best damn player in college football in 2025 by a long shot. Arch should be the best football player in world by 2027. Arch is 21 now. Kobe was the best player in the world when he was 21.

    For evidence. Kobe didn't average 38 a game in 2001. He averaged 38 a game against the Spurs (who were supposed to be the best defensive team in the league that year) in the regular season and playoffs in 2001. That what the Mavs ain't got.

    Watched an interview with Ryan Day talk about the "myth" of The Natural. Therein he claimed that players don't "rise" to the occasion; rather they sink to the floor of their training when they're in the most stressful moments. He said Reggie Jackson hit homers every day, not just in the World Series. If that was true, Reggie would have 162 homers a year. That's Mr. Third Base for you. That's the Mavs.

    Herbstreit referring to part of the Ohio State fanbase as the "lunatic fringe" says it all. My brother-in-law is from Ohio and I've spent time there. Lots of knowledgeable fans and great people, When some of those guys get lubed up, they're insufferable.

    Likely this morning will be the culmination of a bad year for the guys at TexAgs. Have to watch that for a few minutes. On our side, hopefully Schloss can figure out which buttons to push to reverse this late season slump. He wasn't happy after yesterday's loss.

    I'm pretty sure the FBI wasn't involved with SMU and Michigan. The FBI has been involved in numerous NCAA basketball investigations, but they never actually conducted a raid at the school. Love watching criminal media trying to explain why they can't recruit high school players. Everyone knows it's because Nagy runs the program. Why would a high level recruit want to commit to a school where the head coach isn't in control? The criminals can claim it's an NFL model all they want, but recruiting isn't the NFL draft.
