  10. NORMAN, Okla. — The No. 5 Texas women's basketball team emerged victorious in their first Southeastern conference game in program history with an 80-73 win at Oklahoma on Thursday. Jordan Lee came off the bench to lead Texas with 17 points on 4-of-5 from 3-point range. Rori Harmonscored 16 points and dished out eight assists. Taylor Jones scored eight of her 14 points in the fourth quarter and Kyla Oldacre contributed 12 points for Texas. Oklahoma used a pair of 6-0 runs in the first quarter and went up 32-20 with 8:38 to play in the second quarter. Jordan Lee caught fire for Texas in the second period and connected on 3-of-4 from 3-point range to give the Longhorns momentum. Her third 3-point field goal started a 7-0 run for Texas and the Longhorns came all the way back to take a 40-39 lead at halftime. Kyla Oldacre made her presence known with six points in the second quarter for Texas. With the score tied 54-54 in the third quarter Lee stole the ball and drove down the court for a basket and was fouled. Lee completed the three-point play to put Texas up 57-54. Later, Lee knocked down her fourth 3-pointer of the game with 17 seconds left in the third quarter to put the Longhorns up 60-58. The Longhorns scored the first six points of the fourth quarter to go up 66-60, but Oklahoma came back with a pair of baskets to narrow the gap to two at 66-64. Taylor Jones came up clutch with eight points in the fourth quarter for the Longhorns. Up next Texas will continue SEC play as they host Arkansas on Sunday, Jan. 5 with a 2:00 p.m. CT tip on SECN+. Postgame Notes • Texas improved to 14-1 on the season and 40-29 in the all-time series against Oklahoma. • The Longhorns snapped Oklahoma's 16-game home winning streak. • Texas converted 18-of-22 (82 percent) from the free-throw line. • The Longhorns limited Oklahoma to 2-of-16 (13 percent) on 3-point field goals. • Texas forced Oklahoma into 27 turnovers and scored 28 points off those turnovers. • Rori Harmon tallied eight assists and has now recorded 596 assists in her career. Harmon tallied five or more assists for the 13th game this season. • Four Texas players scored in double-figures in the game vs. Oklahoma. • The Texas defense came up with 15 steals.
