I understand that but this is not a typical series. Texas is playing Wagner game 1. I can see several scenarios where TK either doesn’t play or has a limited role. It might even be pitch by committee, similar to game 2 of the OU series. Last year, Kavan did not pitch in game 1 against Eastern Illinois; Cam started and pitched 3 innings, then Citlaly pitched 2 innings. Teagan started game 2 against Michigan and pitched 3.1 innings. Citlaly and Sophia Simpson finished the game. TK pitched the entire third game against UCF. Texas needs Kavan for game 2 and 3, not Wagner.

I think this is exactly right. If you are taking a kid that is already 315+ lbs., he better be physically ready for the NFL. He can improve on technique but for the most part he is what he is going to be. The real monsters seem to come in at 275-290 lbs. with great athleticism and improve both in technique and size.
