Tom Herman to join Florida St staff

The link doesn't work. Omen? -
I remember when Timmy left money on the table for the Spurs. I do think it adds to the aura of leadership when teammates know part of their pay essentially came from their on the playing surface captain [or QB]..

DHT, you do what you wanna do. We all need to be exposed to differing opinions and ideas. I agree about the confidence vs ignorance pov, b/c he will find out soon that the competition is a lot tougher in college that HS, and the pros are a much bigger leap. Lessons that we all learned through life, and this was sort of like whistling while walking through a graveyard. Telling yourself that you are good. - Today

I recommend a parking pass unless you want to walk a country mile.
-
Imagine being Tyran Stokes.....kid walked into a cool 5 million and the starting PG gig for Bill Self. Not bad...
-
Ha, understand....another option then>>> Where are your seats at? That actually matters for parking way more than people think. Mine are on the east side, so I park on the east side and shuttle straight into Gate 14 -- cheap, safe, and you’re basically dropped right at the stadium. Don't quote me on this, but Costs like $10–$20 depending on the game. Call Cap-Metro Call CapMetro Customer Service at 512‑474‑1200 and ask for the Texas Football Game Day Shuttle schedule. They’ll tell you the exact frequency for the specific game. and what lots to park in like 70, 80, and 84. These are the bigger lots east of 35...again, call cap metro to confirm. You park in one of those shuttle lots, walk maybe 2–3 minutes to the shuttle pickup, and the shuttle drops you right on the east side near Gate 14. Short walk, cheap parking, and the buses run every few minutes both before and after the game. i used to do the old Guadalupe/51st shuttle but this doesn’t run anymore --- CapMetro consolidated everything into the East Campus route. If your seats are on the north side, the closest option is Manor Garage, but the exit is rough. No shuttle drops on the north side - you’d still enter on the east and walk inside the stadium. If your seats are on the west side, Trinity Garage is the closest, but again, no shuttle drops over there. You’d still use the East Campus shuttle and walk inside the stadium to the west concourse. If you want the “park close and barely walk” experience without paying donor prices, the shuttle is the move no matter where your seats are.

I mean we have a thread going right now about Tom Herman being at FSU now. Herb Hand is the OL coach there. @Joe Zura should be turning into an FSU fan. Obviously Herb Hand was so much better than Kyle Flood, how could JZ not be a huge fan?

Joe Z is Brennan Marion??

When I read Marion’s comments, the first thing I thought about was how much Joe and Marion would be besties. 🤣 -
After predicting the exact score of today's game I'm going to try to do it again, this time with the right teams. Give me England 2 Argentina 1.

Love the confidence but I'd like his odds in 4 years after spending 3 of them wearing burnt orange. -

Haha...Sark is a great coach and fits the bill for what a Texas HC must be. Juggling donors, NIL, rabid fanbase, unreal expectations every year. Not many coaches are built for that. Winning at Texas is just not enough. You have to beat teams bad enough to leave no doubt, and you better not loose to ATM or Joklahoma. And why did you loose to Day and Smart again. Just to name a few. Im one of those guys, but sometomes i have to step back and look at the totality of all Sark has accomplished. Then I go sit in my corner shut up and color. -
What was he here for like 6 months. Everyone wants a piece of us in the monster energy big xii. Of course he said that because they can’t get any pub unless they use our name.
-
Would be a shame for Texas to lose out on first championship and heisman in years because of scheduling disparities in college football and a selection committee that seems to be incapable of properly evaluating strength of schedule vs win/loss record. And a media complex that doesn’t hold them accountable to follow their own selection criteria

While I agree, I also disagree. Cignetti is a great HC and he certainly can develop guys. Plus he seems to have significant backing if him staying put is any indication. But the homer in me is also saying eff all that and come to Texas. Although I will say in my current CFB 27 dynasty Sark got fired at Texas in year 2 (2027 season) and he got hired at Clemson. Guess who Texas hired? Cignetti lol. I'm playing as lowly Bowling Green trying to rebuild them. -
Yes, it was an incredibly glib thing to say. He’s clearly trying to hype up his own mediocre team but couldn’t credibly claim that his LT is better than Banks.

Looking pre Mendoza Rourke @ IU 11-2 (2024) Jordon McCloud JMU 11-1 (2023) Todd Centio JMU 8-3 (2022) Cole Johnson JMU 12-2 (2021) 14-2 (2019) QB Coach and Recruiting Coord @ NCST Coached and developed a young man named Philip Rivers. No 4 overall pick. Dude wins, doesn't seem to matter a whole lot who the QB is. Solid system...and IMHO one of the top 2 or 3 to coach since 2000. It took him awhile to break through and climb the ladder, but you have to give credit where credit is due.
