  1. Past hour
  2. I'm greedy and want joe burrow level numbers.
  3. Quinn on this list twice - injured both seasons, right?
  4. The only reason Vandy was able to come back was that they refused to call holding penalties when the OTs would tackle Simmons in the second half. I felt like I was watching us play Okie State.
  5. Maybe not “one of my favorite” lol. But one I’m very excited to watch.
  6. Really appreciate this analysis. As I started reading, the first question that popped into my mind - is it more on the offense (to stay on the field longer) or the defense (to get off the field quicker). Regardless of what the status show, last year, it felt like our offense went into long stretches of 3 and out in many games. I'd love to see more opening possession (on offense) sustained drives that result in touchdowns (or at least points). It may not be statistical, but it seems that psychologically, if you can score on a methodical opening drive, it has a lot more effect that just that seven points. Thanks for going down this rabbit hole!
  7. One of my favorite lineups all season. I love moving Becerra to 2nd with Mendoza DH.

  9. The amount of 2nd and 13 we had game after game after game was very frustrating. Hopefully we are much more efficient next year on 1st and 2nd down.
  10. — Pendergrass is back in the lineup in CF. — Becerra is at 2B, Borba moves to 3B and Ashton Larson gets the start at 1B.
  11. He's definitely got the tools around him to make it happen. Even the RBs will be weaponized out of the backfield. Best WR corps in years (maybe ever, tbh). I'm on the pro side of this one, CJ!
  12. Since that's the one game I attended this season, I'll take the blame. If @Blake Munroe accepts blame for the baseball series loss at Tennessee, I don't mind being on the hook for the forgettable Kentucky performance.
  13. Stephen A is worthless bag of hot air just like Skip Bayless and Maddog Mike jerk on ESPN
  14. As of 5:55 p.m., we're still waiting on the lineup to be posted.
  15. The Longhorns begin a three-game home series with the Tigers on the last weekend of the regular season. The game will be streamed live on SEC Network Plus. On the health/injury front: — Ethan Mendoza (shoulder) will be the designated hitter role only this weekend. — Dariyan Pendergrass isn't listed on the SEC availability report. Schloss said on Wednesday that Pendergrass could play this weekend, but as of yesterday, he wasn't sure. UPDATE: Pendergrass is in the lineup in center field. — Max Grubbs is out for this series. It sounds like he's been dealing with some arm soreness, so he'll get the weekend off.
  16. Interested in seeing where Swain is going to be drafted. He didnt have a horrible combine per say, but he didn't exactly help himself either. Same question marks remain. Looks like he dropped out of participating in day 2 of scrimmaging after only being "okay" day 1 in order to maybe maintain some draft hype. 8pts, 5rebs, 0-0 from three on Day 1. Was steady & solid game 1 but didnt really standout. His 3pt star drill testing didn't really go well, & his measureables were all kinda in the average range. Measured 6-6 1/2 no shoes. I think best case for him, is that he falls a little in the first round & goes to a good team that can develop him over time. What Swain really has going for him is that he still has a ton of room for improvement in his game IMO. However, he's gotta really hunker down on his 3pt mechanics...he's just didnt look real comfortable in that star drill a couple days ago. Inconsistent mechanics on most of his shots. Despite the criticism, still rooting for him. Interested in seeing where he lands & how he pans out. @Gerry Hamilton what do you think post combine?
  17. Kentucky was actually 1-of-3 on fourth down. Felt a lot worse though. Vanderbilt was 2-for-2, FWIW.
