At first, I was going to say 3rd, but I think Texas plays 16 games this upcoming season, so I'm going to say he ends up first on this list because of that. 4000+ passing yards, 35+ TD passes, 7 or fewer INTs in 16 games. That would be 250+ passing yards per game on average. Sounds doable if Manning plays 16 games imo.

My hot take a year ago was Manning breaks the single season passing record. He did not. He missed by about 700. This will be the year he throws for 4,000 yards and sets the new single season passing record at Texas.

OTF Premium How Does This Even Happen? AZ Recruiting
CJ Vogel posted a topic in On Texas Football Forum
I was perusing through the state rankings of Arizona this morning and came across one of the wilder recruiting anomalies you will ever see. When it comes to recruiting, a lot of conversation stems from the talent in your backyard. Can you keep top talent home is something that Texas has even struggled with when it comes to elite wide receivers out of the Austin area, or prospects from Dallas or Houston leaving the state. But this is something that I have never seen before. Arizona State signed 5 of the top 10 prospects in the state from the 2017 class. But since then... Arizona State has signed ONE top-10 in-state HS prospect. I couldn't believe it. The following schools have signed multiple top 10 prospects from the state of Arizona. Arizona BYU Cal Colorado Iowa State Kansas Kansas State Michigan State Minnesota Nebraska Notre Dame Ohio State Oklahoma Oregon Texas Texas A&M UCLA USC Utah Washington Wisconsin There have been top ten prospects sign with Alabama, Baylor, Boise State, Clemson Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Purdue, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Stanford, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Washington State and West Virginia during this time period. Yet just one with Arizona State. That prospect was DB Zeth Thues, a 5-foot-11-inch safety who was ranked the No. 10 prospect in the class of 2026. Now is Arizona a juggernaut of a state when it comes to recruiting? Maybe not. But it certainly has talent. There have been 27 NFL Draft picks who played high school ball in the state of Arizona. Arizona State produced just two of those Draft picks. *** By my count, even expanding the search to the top 20 players in the state of Arizona, the Sun Devils signed just 7 prospects since 2018. Just a ridiculously low level. -
It's been said before, but I think Georgia should get a patch on their jerseys for Uber. And give their players free rides everywhere.

Nice work by the men. If they face TCU in the semis, that'll be a rematch of the 2024 finals. -
Happy to pass along stuff like this. Good for everyone to see that IMO.

The National College Football League - NCFL
Buck Travis replied to Buck Travis's topic in On Texas Football Forum
From Fox Sports quoting Clark Lea: "As OutKick reported over the past year, expanding the playoff in this magnitude could also come with the caveat that conference title games would cease to exist. While this might sound like an easy fix to some, it's a much bigger concept to actually pull off, given the amount of money ESPN and FOX pay for these title games, with both games receiving a reported $160 million for their title games combined. "We're going to have to let go of some traditional end of the year elements in college football," Clark Lea mentioned, while also noting that he 'thinks' that would be a conference championship. So what replaces them? "Somehow the playoff model is incorporated, right?" Lea offered up. "Otherwise, this (season) extends forever. I think we saw last year these ridiculous breaks in play, which I think ruins the competitive product on the field. I would be really interested to hear answers and to get people thinking towards those things. "How do we improve the product, tighten the season? Finishing closer to the semester ending, the portal window. Now all of the sudden we have a better product." -
