  3. Not always, that’s where Longhorn city limits is. Since game day will be there they may have something like that.
  4. Not sure if they still do it, but a while back I watched a game on the LBJ lawn right outside DKR. They have a huge screen with tons of fans watching and you can hear the crowd noise right behind you. I really enjoyed it
  5. Big blow to St. John's efforts to replace injured Donnie freeman
  6. OTF has a tailgate that is a good time Scholz, Posse East, or Crown and Anchor are good cheap spots to hang and watch the game. If they’re alumni you can always go watch the game there too. Hill country Fredericksburg is great for wineries and food. Johnson City too. We live in Marble Falls and Horseshoe Bay is a great spot for golf my wife owns a paddle board fitness class that is GREAT for the ladies and specially designed for them. Boardandbodylbj.com. Happy to give more info!!

  8. What would VY have done playing for a coach like Andy Reid? Sad pro ending to a career with a very good start. Norm Chow when interviewed after that game in Houston that VY won with a 20+ yard scramble for a TD, said that VY missed two open reads on that play. He seriously said that instead of praising Vince. Both Fisher and Chow were complicit in the destruction of VY. Ya, VY didn't handle the pro life well either, but with a little support and success, how good could he have been? I'll never forgive or respect either one of them.
  9. He can wander around the tailgates and pretty sure catch the game there and meet some randos. If he can get inyt shultz garden, he should and watch the game there.
  10. Looks like Dillon Mitchell is staying in the NBA
  11. Posse East gets you close enough to DKR to hear it and smell the tailgates if the wind is blowing right.
  12. A younger friend of mine is planning a trip to Austin on a game day and then a couple days in Hill country around Fredericksburg. He wants to travel to Austin on a Thursday, and experience the game day environment and watch the game somewhere nearby with Longhorn fans in a nearby club or restaurant, maybe the Ohio State weekend. He doesn’t want to shell out what it takes for a ticket. For those in the know, any suggestions appreciated that I can pass on to him? He and his wife are in their 30’s, live out of state. He is a huge Texas fan. I think they plan 3 days in Austin then maybe a drive out to the hill country maybe to the Fredericksburg area for a couple days.
  13. Justus Terry has bulked up 👀
  14. On the 2025 class: Sarkisian says there is a real developmental aspect to that class entering year two that gets forgotten in a world of instant gratification.
  15. “Being really efficient and having a strong rapport with the receivers and offensive line.” would classify as a successful fall camp for Arch says Sarkisian.
  16. For the freshmen, the biggest key or point of emphasis for Sarkisian when asked what the best indicator might be for those guys to contribute immediately: ”do they know what to do consistently.”
  17. “One thing I was impressed with today… I thought our coaches were getting after it today.” Sark says he felt his coaches today make an impact on day one of practice. Mentions how important they are to the culture.
  18. Added Derrek Cooper looks really impressive as a freshman body as well.
  19. Sarkisian says Ian Geffrard has dropped about 25 pounds since arriving in the winter.
  20. Sarkisian says the staff tries to make practice as intense as possible with the added idea of “group punishment” for penalties to help get that number down in 2026.
  21. Sark says it was a good day for Arch Manning on day one.
