Nothing about it is incomplete, these are in fact the offensive drives after the first quarter. First quarter was solid, still have to play 45 minutes of game time after that. Your offense was only able to stay on the field for 12 of those 45 minutes against the second (maybe third if they are better than UTSA) worst defense you will play against all season (even worse than Arkansas' going in). Not getting a 3 and out doesn't mean you helped your defense. Like going for it on 4th down at midfield at the end of the half when Florida was also gonna receive the ball to start the 3rd. Tackling was bad all day, it has generally not been good most of the season. There is no defense that can play 33 minutes on the field in the last 45 minutes of the game and be successful. Part of it was on them, especially the first drive of the second half. That largely happened because the offense and play caller gave Florida momentum at the end of the half by gifting Florida a short field. We were playing Big12 defenses. The single year when we were in the SEC, when we played a truly good pressure defense we stunk.

I would love to see some tinkering at the OL. Didn't Flood start Neto last year for a half then took him out and we never saw him again? Did the same thing with Seymore this year, even though he was battling an injury. I would be curious to see if Sekorski could play center and we move Cajoe to LG or RG and take out Robertson for now. Get some more bulk. Install a wildcat formation with Michael Terry. Hell, we did it with Savion Redd. Couldn't hurt because Terry is a higher caliber athlete. I would also see about running more unbalanced lines and making an OL a TE on some plays like we did with Obgo. We are at critical mass here and need to be aggressive and creative as possible.

I agree that Arch has been a problem for sark but we had a whole lot better run game and a wr that blew past defenders in the deep game.

Ya’ll need to be way more realistic with yourself’s. Hiring a OC defeats the purpose of why sark got the job here. If he’s going to do that we might as well get rid of him. My first vote would be cignetti because i think sark reached his peak here in 2023 and 2024.

I am not defending the offense and agree that it was bad. But this breakdown and analysis is at best incomplete. In the first half, the offense only had one drive that was a 3 and out. It is not really their fault that we had a punt return for a touchdown that immediately put the defense back on the field. In the second half, Florida started with the ball and had something like a 8 or 9 minute drive. You can't blame that on the offense. Now, unfortunately the offense answered with a 3 and out, so that certainly didn't help. As I recall, Florida immediately had another time consuming drive. Certainly the offense was bad. But we should not ignore that the defense had their own issues and they were not all the offense's fault.

260 this year against OU, then 195 (OSU), 201 (Tenn), 173 (!!! Florida). So after all the evaluations, the conclusion is no changes and business as usual? 😂 Sark sees the iceberg, refuses to turn the wheel, and is determined to go down with the ship. At least he’s consistent.

Wonderful idea! Let's have an OC change midseason. I'm sure our players will immediately grasp all new offensive concepts within a couple practices and blow doors off of every team left on our schedule! Shoulda thought of this earlier.

Sark was the HC/OC from 2022-2024 when our offense averaged Top 20 in the nation. There was a major change in 2025-2026 and it was QB. Same HC/OC who certainly has his own issues. However, his issues didn’t cause this fall off. Neither did the LG position.
