I have everyone on ignore. I see no content. -
Could have been an anomaly given that Arizona State and Boise State were only in because of the since-ditched rule about 4 conference champs getting byes. And both were solid underdogs in those games. Georgia lost their starting QB coming in to this game, I think Stockton was making his first start. So they had an excuse. And Oregon - well ok, good point. Bad luck facing a rematch against a buzz saw OSU in-conference rival? But yeah, they looked bad. Sorry Joe Z Let's wait until after this year's CFP, when the top four seeds get the byes, and see if it holds up again? I would expect the (actual) top four seeds to do better this year, but maybe you are right. We'll see.

And for the record, I think Sayin is a better pure passer than Arch. Ohio st is gonna be ridiculous on offense in 26

Yeah. You’re saying “Sayin is definitely more athletic” than Baker. I guess we’ll see we play each other these next two years so we will get to know him well

Ohio St. names Sayin as starter

I can definitely agree with you there that Baker, although I wouldn’t call him athletic (comparatively at least), I would definitely agree that he is “sneaky” athletic, or more athletic than given credit for. I think Sayin’s reputation will be very similar once he gets more playing time. -

The main longhorns message board antagonist is tired of being antagonized. Such a shame. I’ll wear your ignore like a badge of honor. No longer just a fraud but a soft fraud. -
Growing up in Houston, I was part of Astros and Oilers fan clubs for kids. These were sponsored by the teams and gave perks like autographs, access to the field before or after games, photographs with certain players. It was an awesome experience and it made me a die hard fan…for about two months until they went on strike. The point is, we will see more and more experiences like these to connect with fans and raise money and that isn’t a bad thing.

Sounds good man. He has finished in the top 10 for QBs for rushing the past few years. His escape ability is pretty good.

It feels like he's been around longer than he has. He's only a redshirt freshman. -

On another note, I know it’s been mentioned the staff loves Cruz. Is he just not ready at this point? I was hoping he would be the starter at C this year based on reviews of him last season. -
Hey @Bobby Burton I heard you mention Happiest Hour in your chat with Nick. My OU group has been going there the past theee years after the game and it’s been a lot of fun. The place is huge the food is great and it has a lot of TVs for post OU game watching. If you and the OTF ever needed a place to post up after OU I highly recommend that place as a post show location. Lots of horns there. We bumped into Wisners entire family there last year after his big game. Give it a look when you’re up there for the Third and Longhorn thing and see what you think? Hook’em.

Your antagonism here is just bandwidth drain at this point. The rest of the board doesn't care.. Show the therapist on the doll where you think I may have touched you and things will eventually get better. For me, you're now on ignore and I'm happy living with the idea that "pinkman_90" doesn't like me and really needs me to know that. -

Amen. Had a drink with CTJ in New Orleans prior to the Washington game and it was fun tracing back the 20 years of message boards together. We’re all on the same team. Hook’em. -

I’m the furthest thing from a “trust the coaches” person. I just don’t like you. Wanted to clear that up. -
Pretty sure Smith will be his first read. That dude… he’ll kill you in man. Zone… just get it near him, and he’ll snatch. He’s like a slightly bigger Andre Johnson. Really difficult to get in his catch radius given how he uses his body. Gotta get in Sayin’s kitchen quick or at least let him feel ya at pre-snap (ie make him think you’re coming).

I don't know why you quoted me here. -I've never been a big fan of the portal for OL help. There is not a post of mine on the Internet since Sarkisian's arrival where I've stated that Texas should go big in the portal. -I liked the Goosby take at the time due to his athleticism and the fact that that class was going to have trouble landing a 5 star OT with Banks already starting as a freshman. -I don't think I've ever typed the name "Pregnon" on this site until right now. Texas kicked the tires on him but Oregon was willing to pay starter money and it didn't make a lot of sense for Texas to do anything there. Portal talk about the OL is all hindsight nonsense. Flood doesn't want to build via patchwork from random G5s, FCS and P4 backups. There aren't a ton of good starting OL in the portal and those that are there cost an arm and a leg. If folks want to level a criticism at Flood, it's not taking enough OLs in the past few cycles. I'm not one of those people saying that, but I understand the logic coming from folks. I'm not some boogieman here, wishing ill will on the program or running down coaches. You guys think you sense a whiff of criticism at a coach or staff and y'all lose your minds. It's absurd. In any event, I got my question answered, if not from the original guy here with the story. Goosby's injury is something to watch for the OSU game. Can he play through the pain and then heal up before UF? Or is there going to be patchwork without him? Either way, it's not nothing and he could very well miss a lot more time than "the next few practices".
