  1. Past hour
  2. I hate myself because I agree with you. But yet the mods will be like blah blah god help me I agree with you
  3. Time to recruit COLLEGE quarterbacks and surround him with NFL talent instead of recruiting “pro style” quarterbacks it’s not sarks cup of tea but it should be out of necessity … Tebow won 2 national titles (with the help of Chris leak - which further proves the point)
  4. I think they win every game the rest of the way. My two biggest worries are Oklahoma and Georgia but Texas defense finds a way. I think mateer will get beaten down against Texas and as much as im disgusted in texas I think many of their opponents have major questions as well. Fortunately I can count on the defense to not only stop teams but set the offense up in solid down and distance.
  5. That’s not youth, that’s not bad luck, that’s a program that isn’t being held accountable and a coaching staff failing to instill discipline. At this level, fundamentals and mental errors are on the coaches, and right now, that’s where the real problem lies.
  6. Look, maybe Arch will be fine, maybe not. But with the product he is putting on the field, I don't blame people for worrying.
  7. I wasn't coming at you, I was just throwing out Arkon's offensive FEI under AJ Milwee to add that he is not an answer either.
  8. More stationary quick stuff would be beneficial.
  9. Texas Penalties per Game Rank: 2025 - 120(9.0) - This week isn't counted yet 2024 - 94(6.4) 2023 - 99(6.6) 2022 - 68(6.1) 2021 - 58(5.8) We have been one of the most penalized teams in the country.
  10. Arch throwing into the turf isn’t a lack of discipline; it’s a failure of coaching and development. A third-year QB with elite talent shouldn’t be making fundamental mistakes like that. At some point, it’s on Sark to teach, correct, and scheme around it, not shrug and call it a fluke.
  11. At least swoopes got me that ND win… was in the student section, was electic
  12. Yal coming at me go at your head coach that is too damn stubborn to realize his offense is going to crap & not trying to fix it.. But hey offensive genius tho
  13. Well I guess, but also discipline doesn’t affect Arch’s ability to throw the ball into the f*cking turf
  14. Discipline, it’s why Texas is one of most penalized teams as well. All comes down to discipline and accountability. He clearly isn’t holding the team accountable enough, as he says, “you get what you put in or preach”. He continues to talk about a standard, what standard? The standard shown in games isn’t very high.
  15. If the offense isn't broke, I don't know what you call this hot mess so far this year. I was ready for the inexperience factor but this is bad even beyond that. There is no consistency, no improvement, only spurts of good here or there. Arch Manning looking like Tyrone Swoopes, WR's can't catch the ball, OL can't block that well. I mean what are we even doing? I'm not ready to throw the towel in but I'm finding it hard to put any stock in this offense right now. It looks horrible, for a supposed offensive genius. This is beyond frustrating to see.
  16. You don’t want the answer cause I’ll be banned
  17. This is the problem when you hire all your buddies to coach around you: there’s no accountability. It is inexcusable that Flood couldn’t have a better succession plan for his OL after losing so many key starters. Surely Sark has given him a ton of leeway. It’s inexcusable that Sark allowed himself to rely on so many young receivers this year. It’s inexcusable that Milwee’s QBs have shown zero development. There’s a hell of a lot of accountability on defense. So clearly this is a Sark problem. He needs to take a long look in the mirror.
  18. Arch is toast and Sark has to make a call on him before Florida. The other problem is offensive speed. Or WRs are average, even Wingo.
  19. I feel the same but now I don't like Arch, the offensive play caller, the offensive line coach, or the quarterback coach. All are current reasons why this team did not win a title and have held this team from reaching the best they can be.
  20. I just don't understand what the issue is. Makes no sense to me. We'll hear the same 'ol things from Sark "we gotta play better, we gotta execute better, we gotta play complimentary football", etc. But when will that reflect on the field? If you're struggling to consistently move the ball against lesser teams, how do you expect to beat Florida? OU? Georgia? Texas A&M? I'm trying not to be a negative nelly, because being straight up negative is of no benefit to anyone but what I'm seeing right now is the same product getting put out every week and zero improvement. That is a concern.
  21. You questioned whether Sark was being held accountable. What questions do you want asked?
  22. What I don’t understand is that Sark exuded a huge amount of confidence about Arch and about his offense coming into the season. How could he possibly be so wrong? Have the coaches taken the experience and leadership of the last few years for granted and taken their foot off the gas? Are these guys having problems when the lights turn on that aren’t apparent in practice? It’s a real head scratcher.
