  1. Past hour
  2. Monthly after they enroll
  3. The student I know who receives NIL from another SEC school gets his monthly.
  4. Next man up! USA! LFG! USA!
  5. ……how does NIL payments work? Say you offer a kid $1M for a year. Does he get it all upfront, half upfront and the other half at end of year, or in monthly or bi-weekly payments????
  6. Just need to get this guy autographed somehow now😅
  7. Pulisic out today
  8. Today
  9. The real business starts now. The behind the scenes lobbying and amendments to the bill on the floor etc. The Big 10 and SEC will use all their chips now no doubt. They say they will bring it to the floor , but without 60 votes Thune won't bring it imo. Sure the 2 leagues want to stop it in the Senate. But if not the House is a different place , and see no way it gets done there anytime soon. We are all guessing, but I'd put my $ on no , or a very different version at the least.
  10. The woman sponsor of the bill seemed to insinuate that the SEC and the Big10 didn't really provide input like others did and both have shot back I think. In some ways it would be good to have some legislation, but I don't think they should be legislating conference realignment, how many teams can be in a conference, etc.
  11. I’ve been holding onto a Cedric Benson 2001 signed novelty - it’s on the Build-a-Bear pajamas of the BaB my mother had made me before a long trip back in 2001. She was and is a diehard Longhorn and received her masters at UT Austin which is what prompted me to ask to have the keepsake she gave me autographed. (As a 10 year old I thought she’d appreciate a longhorn’s autograph). Some of the UT football players from that season visited my middle school - Leander Middle School - I can’t remember why they were there, but I do remember them having an autograph table in our cafeteria. I’ve kept it in a box for 25 years and I’d like for it to maybe go to someone who can actually appreciate such a unique (and super random) artifact. I can’t seem to upload a photo but am happy to provide one! Thanks! -AM
  12. 0% chance that change actually happens. The MLBPA will never go for that.
  13. I really think we received the worst seeding in Omaha we possibly could have gotten.
  14. Two visitors on campus yesterday. We’re expecting some news soon.
  15. During OU's run of dominance, except for a couple of recruited players, they got the best transfer pitcher almost every year. With public NIL, that run has stopped for now. Jordy Frahm Bahl went home, Karlyn Pickens stayed home, Canady went to Tech, Kavan stayed at Texas, Terry went to Tech, Fischer went to Georgia, etc.
  16. I hope it’s just me and my PTSD but I’m starting to get Dakorien vibes from Royal. Somebody talk me off the ledge. Sorry,Joe, for using the D word so close the 4th of July!
  17. This is a great compromise, especially now with NIL. Takes away the onus for teams to have 8 levels of player development.
  18. This is the most honest post I have seen. " a wife & 2 daughters" . . . You're definitely not looking for drama. BTW, JoeZ keep the posts coming. Something about your humor resonates in Thailand! Hook 'em Bad Boy from the Badlands 🤘🏼
  19. Big one comes off the board
  20. I believe her brother is a three-star QB in Kansas as well. Applewhite is recruiting him to South Alabama.
  21. Kiffin and LSU staff utilized Monshun Sales' visit to show him that he does not need to share the spotlight with Royal in Austin. They pitched Sales on becoming the clear-cut, undisputed alpha WR1 of their own elite 2027 class, without Easton Royal. They immediately turned up the heat to a frantic level on Royal the moment Sales departed campus. LSU is playing a high-risk game of musical chairs because they lack confidence in landing either player.
  22. Henry Bolte pretty good outfielder for the athletics was a Texas commit. He's hitting 310 in the MLB this season
  23. You guys covering baseball did a fantastic job. I've had a blast learning the sport and watching the games, when I used to think baseball was boring af. Great season, disappointing end and here's to hoping we come back next year even stronger.
