Athletic trainers always do a couple of tests immediately on the area. They usually give a pretty good idea on the injury. But the MRI confirms the severity of a tear or sprain if at all etc. So obviously there was some looseness etc. Just hope for the best .

Texas isn’t exactly void of talent. They have one of the top 3 most talented rosters in the country. Ohio State lost Simmons before the season, shuffled the OL and still won a national championship. If Texas doesn’t have enough pieces behind Goosby to withstand one injury, that’s not a talent problem, that’s a roster/development problem on Sark and Flood.

No doubt. Depending on the results, it would be a huge hit if he was out for an extended period of time. It would make bringing back Cole Hutson a lot more important imo because it gives some position versatility and runway for the staff to try out some different combos. Again, let's wait til the results come before we go there though.
