  1. Past hour
  2. I think it’s because he hasn’t played at that level here at Texas yet. It’s a complete different ball game here in the SEC.
  3. I am in wait and see mode because i am sure we heard the same sunshine pumping about last years offensive line this time during camp, But i am very happy seymore seems to be all what we expected. I’d lose my mind having to see huston trouting back out there with the first group.
  4. I know he wasn't named to it when he was at Texas, but Maraad Watson might be the least talked about Freshman All-American I've seen in the Sark era
  5. That’s on the receiver
  6. Haha, I almost said this exact thing. Except, I think Kelson started at LB against USC and not Killebrew? Point remains though either way.
  7. I am going to assume that Cryer is the inside LB. TS missed Spring, came in amazingly light - and that contrasts with Cryer, who had 7 tackles against 'Bama last fall and was FSU's statistical leader on defense for the entire season in only 8 games. We have read nothing but good news about Cryer. Knowing that Texas has Spence who can play Edge and LB eases my concerns about depth at LB, because as good as Spence is he won't likely often be needed at Edge, while he often may be needed at LB. And he is a football player Muschamp could have invented. Just a thought. YMMV.
  8. The Littleton pick sounds like someone who has seen the formation and play call every day in fall camp.
  9. Totally agree that competition should lead to position leaders. I also understand that getting through a "personal issue" is in fact that, personal. People outside of his situation "fine tooth combing" it just makes it harder for the young man to get to the other side of it. Just being a positive fan.
  10. If this isn’t a post after my own heart, I don’t know what is.
  11. This, hilarious!!
  12. I'm not sure how it will pan out. But I have faith in Coach Boom figuring it out. Say what you want about him as a head coach, but I'll take him all day every day as a coordinator.
  13. I want to see what the offense does next week when the defense should be at full power. Thats the biggest takeaway i have. Yes you had a decent day. But a lot of offenses will have better days when biles, smith, terry are out of the game.
  14. Great stuff Jeff! I am so excited for the interior defensive line this season. There could be any number of guys who step up. Kanu, January, Watson, Geffrard— not to mention Justus Terry—I think will all contribute in big ways for Texas this season. What a luxury. Sharma, Charles, Zion Williams, and Jamarion Carlton all waiting in the wings. Top to bottom I think this interior room could be one of the deepest we’ve seen at Texas. That said there’s a lot of uncertainty and a lot of projection. I think they rise to the challenge under Will Muschamp.
  15. Today
  16. These dudes have been practicing against eachother everyday. They know the routes, tendencies, can recognize things a lot quicker. Turnovers are to be expected in scrimmage #1
  17. 1st time I met Earl was at shuttle bus stop in front of Jester. Super nice dude.
  18. Hopefully next Saturday is packed with even more good news
  19. We won a national championship with Harris, Bobino and Killebrew. I think Biles, Spence, Cryer and possibly Smith will be satisfactory.
  20. I’m in a wait and see on Manning a little bit. You can’t dismiss two picks as nothing. It’s not sound the alarm time either. He is still learning. Manning has only started 13 games or so. Colt as this time had like 30 plus at this point.
  21. I bet Arch never saw him
  22. Amazing. Not one mention about LG. Hallelujah
  23. The TyAnthony Smith stuff had me worried about LB depth and havoc I definitely pictured being able to deploy both Biles and Smith on passing downs to attack QB and create mismatches from depth. A set with Simmons, Geffridge, Smith Biles and Cryer all on the field would be really deadly grouping.
