Footage of Sark growing up

Great choice, brings back the memories. In September 1982 I had just taken a job at a startup company in San Jose, employee # 149. Many of our engineers and managers had graduated from Stanford, including the founders, and we also had a big contingent from Cal, so there was a lot of back and forth between them before the Big Game. Stanford, with John Elway at QB, had kicked a FG with 4 seconds left to go ahead 20-19 and this was the ensuing kickoff, which was amazing. My boss at work was a Cal Bear grad and was coming over for dinner that night. When he and his GF got there I said "Congratulations on the game. That was amazing." He gave me a stink-eye look and said "What the hell are you talking about? I went to Cal." "Yeah, that's what I thought. That was a great finish." He said he had turned off the TV after "that effing field goal" - when I told him Cal ran the kickoff back for a TD with 5 laterals as the Stanford band ran onto the field he didn't believe me until I turned on the TV and we found a recap on a local channel. He had missed one of the greatest plays in history. LOL

Annexation of Puerto Rico!

Texas 52 Mississippi State 24

November 20, 1982-

We wound up with 2 extra tickets to the game today. Section 15 Row 37. They are pretty good seats. I’ve got them listed on SeatGeek. If you want them, message me and I’ll send them to you.

Heard the Ringling Brothers had an opening in the clown troop. They can fit one more in the car.

We offered yet?

Give him a scholarship just based of hustle and effort!

Worthy also played a huge part in that play.

Trust Vic

My vote is Street to Peschel against Arkansas.

That's what that ref was doing.

Astonishing lack of institutional control. When a dog gets rabies, you put it down.

37-13🤘

Wonder what drew the sleazeball comments and then your son still picking them anyway…so much for parental guidance!

The Immaculate Reception - 1972 (for all us old timers who watched it live on TV)

No doubt. Would’ve been awesome to see him at Texas, but his decision to stay at Florida and other players that have made similar decisions to stay at their schools are good for college football.

Gonna be really interesting to see how much Ahmad Hudson plays basketball in college

Level of completion not really there

🤔

Baugh will be better in the NFL than college IMO. It's sad that we stopped Baugh like no one else and still lost! But all our goals are ahead of us and we CAN run the tables. One play at a time. One quarter. One game at a time. We can do this thing. HOOKEM

Will Wade said lemme start building some Duke-esque classes at a football/baseball school…
