  1. Past hour
  2. A note - Underwood became an attorney in Houston. He died recently. He was my age, I think. As a DE [but like Nobis he played both ways] at Texas he was a strong contributor to the Natty team and the team that beat Namath. Was a LB in the League. ... As I have written before Neil was my all time favorite OL at Texas until Justin Blaylock.
  3. You're right. I need to fix that. 1989 was 5-6, 4-4.
  4. The great thing about NIL is that if Larry Johnson retires in the next year or two, he knows he will have a home here.
  5. I think 10-2 was 1990. 1989 was my first year as a fan and was we’ll say not fun ha
  6. We’re 68 days away from Texas football, and today’s group has a good mix of old-school and more recent Longhorns. Derek Kerstetter was a steady, versatile piece up front with 58 games played, 49 starts and experience at guard, tackle and center. Larry Stephens helped Texas win the 1959 SWC title before becoming a second-round NFL Draft pick. Ken Hackemack also belongs in the mix as a four-year letterman who was drafted by the Chiefs. No one on the Texas roster currently wears 68 (65-68 actually).
  7. Apparently his parents like Texas more and can see themselves moving here with him. If I understand things correctly.
  8. Just did an AI search on why Mavs fans are the dumbest and worst fans in the NBA, and it said they are. Dallas Mavericks fans are widely viewed as the "dumbest" and "worst" due to their recent statistical ranking as the most toxic, negative, and reactionary fanbase in the NBA. You can thank Cuban.
  9. Today
  10. This is why the Lakers shouldn't build around loser Luka. Making the Finals is the standard, not something you celebrate.
  11. I'm just excited to see Justus Terry in general.
  12. Five year rule should help for portal and developmental pieces. Lance is a true sophomore so that's a ways away. Let's see how Lance performs. I would like to see Justus Terry flex out sometimes too this upcoming season.
  13. Wesley is a 6' 4" 260+ jack that will play behind Jackson.
  14. I mean he's kinda got a point...
  15. Richard Wesley wouldn't fit that same role as Ethan Burke, LJ, or Zina though. Other than JC, there's no one else on the roster. Fakatou would be the next guy in line if Texas were to land him, if not they'd go portal for that big EDGE.
  16. 1969 National Champions. Will always have a special place in my heart.🤘
  17. The Colt McCoy shoulder to me is by far the biggest one. Number 2 would probably be if we tackled Crabtree in 2008.
  18. I heard from an inside source that there is an injury that may impact special teams.
  19. Besides Carlton do we have any other big edges that fill in for Lance Jackson once he's gone?
  20. Not a Longhorn but mad respect to Jared Allen for wearing 69. Dude was a baller and also hilarious.
