Was told by a source on Monday that Texas is still actively recruiting Ohio State DE commit DJ Jacobs. Curious to see if efforts ramp up with Jacobs after Fakatou (also a big DE/EDGE target) committed to OSU today. Jacobs did not take an official visit to Austin this summer, so it's possible he could take an in-season look at Texas. He was last on campus for the Texas-Texas A&M game in November.

In Georgia’s tiny ballpark, this guy may hit 50 HRs next season.

If we can survive the QB’s and this schedule and make the playoffs we will be beyond battle tested and watch out anyone in our way in the playoffs

FWIW, I mistakenly omitted 2019 from the list. Texas faced five future draft picks in the regular season: Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts, Max Duggan, Skylar Thompson and Brock Purdy.

I had a teacher in school with a laminated piece of paper that said, "How do you confuse an Aggy? (Flip Over for Answer)" and on the back it said the same thing.

Softball also moves faster than baseball. The pitch and batters clock is faster and definitely enforced. I don’t think the run is applied in the WCWS.

Find a way to get to the playoffs and that experience from our regular season schedule will pay off🤘

Fun read,Jeff! McCown, Sayin, Reed, Mateer, MacIntyre, and Taylor were all in Thibodaux this weekend for the Manning Passing Academy. Plenty of talented arms and quarterbacks on the schedule.

Rod and I also got into this discussion on Football Theory, with the conversation centered around Muschamp's defense getting off to a good start:

I don't know how high the ceiling is for the quarterbacks on Texas' schedule, but it feels like the floor is pretty high. Muschamp's defense doesn't get any breaks before SEC play in that regard.

Texas has fortunately invested in DL, Edge and DB. LB should be more than adequate. 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
