  6. Why an age limit? He’s never played college football and he will be past a young prime anyway. This isn’t breaking any rules.

  8. Texas will need to actually be active this cycle. FSU AA 3B has entered the portal Amon others
  9. As they should. And I agree with them The parts all fit together ... and Goosby is going to be very good. Amari Evans very solid off bench, Ogden will be solid off bench, John Clark should be a good role player off bench too
  10. Need an age limit. 25 years at most!
  11. No issues with this. Good luck to the young man.
  12. Why would the NCAA delay the opening of the portal when 90% plus of teams seasons are finished ? Just 16 teams still playing.
  13. My hot take is that it is the NCAA’s attempt to smuggle in a pseudo “competitive balance” mechanism that other professional sports have. NCAA thought process being if we have the portal window at the time that would be most difficult for top programs to recruit the portal it makes it easier for lesser programs to get better.
  14. He doesn’t spend on softball, it’s another guy
  15. A lot of high level baseball players could have played big time football. Joe Mauer and Adam Dunn come to mind. Drew Henson was battling Tom Brady at Michigan and then signed with the Yankees. Don’t recall a big time success going to college football in a while though. Has there been once since quan? ahh yes weeden in the above post. Forgot about old man weeden
  16. I have no problem with this sort of return to college. Now, if he were to try to play baseball for SMU, that's another story.
  17. Brandon Weeden, Drew Henson. We haven’t seen much of this lately so maybe that’s why it feels less familiar.
  18. El Jefe, is Hill hitting the portal a big loss for us,
  19. Can you imagine being in an NFL locker room and having to answer to those dudes?!?!
  20. Not sure why people are acting like this is a new thing. Completely different than the other situations we have seen over the last 3-4 years
