we lived in oregon and had a house in Redmond for a while. that part of the state tends to be more Oregon State oriented than Oregon. The other side of the mountains seemed to be a bit more U. Oregon fans. Redmond and Bend are nice areas and Central Oregon was my favorite part of the state.

I also am not sure that all batters should be waiting 2 or 3 pitches before taking a swing hoping to find their pitch. We get too many 0 and 2 counts and batters with not much bat control invariably chase bad pitches at that point. Some batters are good first pitch hitters and scouting reports tell you how good an opposing pitcher is at throwing first pitch strikes and what kind of pitch he relies.

@Jeff Howei thought the bullpen would be the death of us. I definitely didnt have our offense sinking the team on my bingo card. We gotta shore up the bottom of the rotation

I am expected to believe he won't be visiting the school he has been committed too since 2025 with the longest relationship in place because the team that was running 3rd got him to shut his recrutiment down immedately when Mulgheta is his agent. Another key part of this hire is that he teaches infield. BIG time infield teacher (think like Stapleton). The offense and infield both got better today.

Our softball team is amazing.

I like Shea a lot. And he is dialed in at LSU. That said, I think he can only report what he’s being told. I think there’s a healthy dose of wishful thinking in that report. Now, it may ultimately turn true at some point. But for now, like I said, for LSU to think they can get a recruit who has not been committed to them, to flip to them and then also stop taking a visit to the school he’s been committed to for a long time is presumptuous to a level I think is overdone.
