  1. Past hour
  2. I have Stanford with a much higher projection (1314.5), so I'm wondering what's amiss. I have fall/winter subtotal at 917.5 as at thedirectorscup.com, then spring projections of 83 (W WP - final), 100 (BVB), 60 (one of W LAX or M Golf), 100 ( W Golf), 90 (Row), 64 (Softball), and then excluded scores for M/W tennis (50,50),one of W LAX or M Golf (60), and W T&F (50). Those scores further cause the fall/scores for M WP (55) and M Fencing (45) to be excluded, so that's 917.5-100+497=1314.5, so we're about 60 points apart. which is suspicious. btw, #1 UCLA got upset in the qf of men's VB, so they dropped 40 projected points there. I think.
  3. Love this from guys who play on or near the line of scrimmage. It’s a good sign of explosive athleticism.
  4. Luke Harrison is on the mound for Texas. State is going with Charlie Foster. A 6-4 sophomore lefty, he’s 0-2 with a 5.67 ERA in 13 appearances (eight starts), 33 hits and 21 earned runs allowed in 33.1 innings, 36 strikeouts and 17 walks.
  5. Texas is a top-four seed ... a major advantage We have the talent to make a run, but the second half of the season showed why we are not the safest pick. The pitching depth behind Kavan hasn’t been consistent, the defense has been shaky, and the offense disappears too often against top‑tier arms. In a league as deep as the SEC, those issues get exposed fast. We can win it, but they’ll need to play cleaner softball than they have in months.
  6. This is what I keep saying. What NFL team takes him two months removed from what is basically in-patient rehab for gambling? Hunter Dekkers is playing in UFL, but he's years removed from his scandal.
  7. Does Texas get a full share now or is it still a rediced share?
  8. @CJ Vogel please make no comments if the pitching is good today.
  9. Glad Schloss referred to Bohls as scrouge in the postgame presser yesterday.
  10. You might want to add the distance that qualified him 🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
  11. https://www.secsports.com/news/2026/02/sec-announces-2024-25-revenue-distribution Last year the SEC distributed about the same per school (72.4 Million). We'll see about this year, but BIG one MBB, WBB, Football as well as smaller sports like Field Hockey and Water Polo, etc.
  12. Today
  13. After yesterday's 7-4 loss to the Bulldogs, the Longhorns will go for the series win today at 1 p.m. The game is live on ESPN. If Texas wins and Auburn finishes a sweep of Texas A&M in College Station today, the Longhorns will be all alone in second place in the conference standings.
  14. If we do, it's just one more reason to have a low opinion of Tech.
  15. Swain should definitely go pro. He's up to 12-16 in the draft. Time for him to develop with the big boys. Texas will be fine.
  16. More like legit NC level contender Texas will have shot at the other thing mentioned this season because they are going to be better in every area as a team IMO but nothing guaranteed in the tournament
  17. Knowing Vegas they will post odds on win or lose the case. Knowing Sorsby, he will bet on it.
  18. I wrote about my personal experience with Kessler this morning. I don’t know if he’ll be able to do anything but I wouldn’t put it past him.
  19. I've been thinking about national comparisons for our less than upright opponents: Criminal Sooners=Soviet Union: Cheat, spy and steal like crazy. Aggies=France: Constantly chide and whine but ultimately depend on you for their security. Tech=Saudi Arabia: desert oil and nothing else.
  20. Criminal sooner Mateer should be out too. This is a matter much too serious to tolerate tomfoolery.
  21. I blatantly violated the eligibility rules of my league. So much so that I need professional help. But I’m still going to try to bully my league into letting me play.
  22. This is a no-brainer despite the moral relativism of Tech fans. You literally can't have legitimate sports if the players are permitted to gamble on their own team's games.
  23. (mostly) not because he's at Tech, I hope he loses the buyout lawsuit with Cincinnati and is forced to pay, cannot reach a settlement on suspension, and the NFL turns him down. There must be consequences in life to deter people from doing dumb things. And hiring Kessler is stupid. There is no antitrust agreement not to compete issue here like with capping athlete compensation. And even if there were, there is an obvious pro-competitive justification for the NCAA enforcing it's anti-gambling rules.
