  1. Past hour
  2. Chicago Bears GM Ryan Poles is here at MPA. Poles’ son is a camper this year.
  3. Derrick Coleman had top ten all time talent. Unfortunately he didn’t seem to work too hard at his craft. Would have loved to see how Hank or Len Bias worked out.
  4. My only question is, who was 2nd?
  5. Glad he's back another year to get it straightened out at the plate.🤘
  6. Players improve also, the entirety of his career should be considered without recency bias. Kody Clemens batted sub .250 with low single digit home runs his first 2 seasons, then broke out his junior year coming back.
  7. Yep, need to clean up the strikeouts, but I'm very excited about getting veteran leadership back on the team. Don't underestimate how important it is to have guys on the roster who 'have been there'. This is a good thing! Welcome back, Casey!
  8. There is no reason for this. A Longhorn, who is living the dream that 98% plus of us will never live, has decided to return to help our beloved Horns reach the ultimate goal. Please cheer for him and keep the negativity out of this.
  9. Today
  10. Do they put a net up around the field when Marcel Reed throws?
  11. Texas Tech Leadership (or lack thereof) and our Texas Atty General look even more like f’ing morons after the CFL followed the NFL’s lead, sending a clear signal. Brandon Sorsby is not allowed to play or be under contract in their professional league. It’s becoming more and more clear, with all the threats of lawsuits and the way he responded to the NCAA ban by seeking injunction, Sorsby may never play football again. Love to see Texas Tech exposed for what they are, a school willing to sell their soul at all cost for ‘respect’ and the exact opposite happened in the process. If the SEC and Big 10 ever add more teams, I can guarantee you one team on their ‘banned from consideration’ list. Love it!! 🤘🏼🐂🧡 https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/49188893/cfl-says-brendan-sorsby-allowed-join-league

  12. Hank Gathers died, Gary Payton was the star, Derrick Coleman played in some All Star Games. I don't recall who was further down in that draft but I think Chicago secured Kukoc. It wasn't deep, as you suggest.
  13. was KL out front? looks fast!
  14. This has been said about him for 2 years straight if he was like pack or any of the other draft players we have had in the past he would be better by now.
  15. You are right about that. I think they have tried to get him out of that dead pull problem. Also, a lot of his Ks come from having to take early pitches and getting behind a lot. And with his not so great eye for the ball and bat control he is a sucker for those low and outside sliders and curve balls. Those 81 Ks are nothing to sneeze at. Of course they aren't in the Trey Faltine range but they need to be cut down. He is a very good infielder and with a bit more plate work and discipline he can be a much better hitter.
  16. he was never going to be drafted lets be real lmaooo
  17. Perhaps not directly……….but maybe something something about time, something about resources…… Yeah, I’m guessing wagers are never done during company time for anyone. At this point, I’m not exactly sure what my personnel manual says.
  18. I knew the 2027 draft was bad, but that is a bleak top 10.
