You’re forgetting Vanderbilt who I’d put above Texas. And honestly, I’d put Kentucky and probably Tennessee above Texas, too. I’m sorry, I might love Texas, but I’m a realist. I don’t know what’s going on with this program but it’s Madison and a lot of youth. That’s risky and scary, in my opinion, and I am disappointed it’s come to this for Booker’s senior year.

Texas QB commit Ty Knutson received an invitation to the Elite 11 Finals in Los Angeles Thursday afternoon. Dia Bell won the Elite 11 a year ago and KJ Lacey was a participant as well.

Definitely really talented. Majority of the Texas staff on the road started in Houston this week, so it was easy to stop by and see him. Multiple coaches went to Atascocita the same day as well. North Shore, Duncanville, DeSoto would all get multiple coaches like this.

Is Jhadyn Nelson a top recruit? For that many coaches to go and visit him, it seems he is of high priority. Is he the same level of LB prospect as Gouda?

As an SEC member, I understand Texas (and other members) have handed their media rights over to the conference. I wish Texas would fight for all non-conference media rights in football to revert individually to members. That way UT can at least get paid well (astronomically, in some cases) for playing ar least one premier non-conference game each year. Why should conference members who play patsy non-c games financially benefit for Texas playing Buckeye St, Much, ND, etc?
