  7. Every play is a fight throughout top football (college and nfl). There was no fight, rather they played flat. Saturday's loss should have been alarming throughout the game and Sark and his entire coaching did not act ASAP.
  8. Huge catch. Would love to see more targets go his way, he has been the most consistent target for Manning and should be treated as such. But Only 1.5 quarters of play is the reason why he wasn't included.
  9. @CJ VogelWhat about Livingstone he had that huge catch before he got hurt?
  10. This was probably the most difficult game to choose three players to recognize that Texas has played this season. In actuality, I don't think three players were entirely deserving, but for the sake of the list, this is where we land Star No. 1: TyAnthony Smith Smith is on his way to becoming one of the best linebackers Texas has had in quite some time. Of course, playing alongside Anthony Hill Jr. has allowed Smith to play freely. You see the instincts clearly on the huge forced fumble in the 2nd quarter as well. Smith also added 1.5 tackles for loss and remains one of the better gap shooters Texas has. Star No. 2: Anthony Hill Jr. It may not have felt like Hill was as active as he typically is in a given game, but he was credited with 14 tackles on Saturday. That is six more than the next highest tackler on the field for the Longhorns. Jadan Baugh was getting to the second level frequently and Hill was there to clean it up just about every time. Star No. 3: Michael Taaffe This is where I get to maybe three stars weren't entirely deserving on Saturday, but I will give it to Taaffe. The interception was very important to give Texas a chance late in the 4th quarter. However, Taaffe had a chance to bring down Dallas Wilson on his long TD and failed to do so. Still, I am not sure I can point to many others who had as significant impact on Saturday. HM1 – Ryan Wingo: Had Wingo hauled in the sideline pass that he dropped, he would have been up top in the three stars category. But he finds himself here instead, still an impactful Saturday. HM2 – Colin Simmons: The bar is incredibly high for Simmons this year and Texas fans will want more of a guy who spoke about breaking the school sack record. But four of your six QB pressures came from Simmons, and he single handedly destroyed a Florida drive by himself in run support.
  11. At least the volleyball team is living up to their standard. It's amazing what Coach Elliott has done year in and year out, he loses 8 players to graduation/transfer this past offseason, starts 3 freshman, and is undefeated with a #2 ranking. In the last 19 seasons, they've reached the final four 14 times. If they make it again this year, that will be 15/20 seasons for a 75% rate. Just below 50% on the finals/championship game appearance. Just imagine if any of the other major sports programs on campus could do that. (Football, either basketball, baseball/softball)
  12. @Blake Munroe I send a super chat last night live stream that didn’t get answered it was 4.99 super chat Juan Garza. The Superchat was does Sark call Cutcliffe
  13. 68 degrees out here in Austin, HEB House Blend is brewed. Let's have a good Monday
  14. This team needs to use James Simon against OU if Baxter is going to be out. It's all hands on deck and I have a feeling he could have a BIG game on Saturday like so many freshman have in this rivalry .
  15. Early bird gets the worm @Blake Munroe 🤘🏻
  16. Join us for Coffee and Football beginning at 8:15 AM. We’ll be talking the Longhorns, discussing OU and taking your questions. https://www.youtube.com/live/QyhitiCgAdQ?si=Z0_a8Sp7-SDYv4wj
  17. Honestly maybe they should just scrap the whole OL outside of Goosby? Chuck Brooks in at RT, Kibble in at RG, Robertson or Cruz in at C and Neto in LG. Why the hell not, can't be any worse lol.
  18. That's the most confusing part, right? How in the hell are we not able to get any pressure? Even against the g5 teams we played, they still struggled. Makes no sense. We're too reactive instead of being proactive on D. I know PK doesn't like to blitz, but you need something. Way too much talent there for them to be THIS bad.
  19. Sorry I meant to say do we really think he is an issue. But I don't disagree, seems like outside of the RB coach, everyone's job might not be safe on that side of the ball.
  20. To be fair our nose was so high in the air coming into this season that we should have it shoved in the pile of crap we’ve laid.
  21. Michael Terry played rb in high school too fwiw
  22. Brooks is absolutely right but he’s also a Georgia fan and using every opportunity to stick Texas’ nose in this mess.
  23. Win the WHOLE F****** Thing
