  1. Past hour
  2. That's a very interesting stat there. Good catch @BigTex29
  3. " Arch is always gonna be inaccurate" And thats a problem. I don't think it's too much to ask for the #1 recruit to be an accurate passer of the football. The passes he does complete are often times not even thrown where they are supposed to ( Horrendous pass behind Wingo last night that he got bailed out on ). We've gotten away with this at home in the last 2 games, much more difficult to do on the road in hostile environments.
  4. did they keep calling deep post that didn’t have a prayer of being completed as well?
  5. I approve this message ☠️😭 kidding wild stuff
  6. His incompletions were pretty rough before the hit. Including the first throw of the game.
  7. Is Swafford a shortstop as well?
  8. He also had 75% completion and had some really really good throws... Arch is always gonna be inaccurate, he's not Mensah, but not 29% for 45 yards inaccurate, be for real. We can be real about who Arch is as a player without being disingenuous. 2 or 3 throws sailing high out of 15 is not the same as going 5/17.
  9. agree that arch is not the most accurate, but hes throwing 75% before the hit and <33% after the hit. I dont see this as total regression as much as playing bad after getting bell wrung. my 0.02
  10. He threw the first pass of the game into the stands when a receiver was wide open. He’s been doing this since he got to Texas and unfortunately it’s going to continue. Some pitchers can’t throw strikes.
  11. Yeah I rewatched the game and noticed the same thing just watching him play. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't bound for a perfect game even before the hit but like he had 2 bad throws before he got hit. After that he was much, much worse in everything... accuracy, processing, decision making... everything. I still think Sark should've benched Arch after that hit, don't think it was any good for him confidence wise to see himself struggle. Here's to hoping for a Vanderbilt type of game from Arch! Probably one of the most complete game he's played at Texas
  12. Pyle Field was half empty at the beginning of 4th. What happened to never leave early aggie BS.
  13. not making excuses for overall team performance - he obviously missed some throws pre-hit, and offense was still not great. But the hit 100% changed his performance in this game - both accuracy and processing.
  14. Compelling stats. Hope Texas medical is examining Arch.
  15. That's not a thing, unfortunately. What we don't know is how the 2028 class will be impacted by the CBA, whenever it's agreed to and ratified. This is a cycle where it's worth it to roll the dice on high-end recruits who might not have a path to professional baseball right out of high school.
  16. Today
  17. Hey guys, lifelong longhorn fan here who lives just outside of Knoxville (25min) and has my entire life. I'm a donor to the longhorn foundation at the tradition level. I will be attending the game this coming Saturday. I am going to be at the game with my buddies who are Vol fans, but before the game I would love to connect with other Texas fans and have a good time a group of fellow longhorns leading up to the game. Please let me know if you are going and are willing to let one guy join your tailgate. Hook Em!
  18. Looks like they could use a couple of nfl players.
  19. It should have been targeting. He led with the crown of his helmet!
  20. I was wondering the same thing after that hit. Kg Lacy could have handled USTA. But I get it.
  21. ON LSU football
  22. Good for him. It looked worse.
  23. I did like seeing michael terry run hard and fast. also, derrick cooper moved the pile. also, Wingo made a nice hands catch with ball thrown behind him. Spencer Shannon doesn't have good hands. He double catches everything (or drops it)--did it against OSU and again yesterday.
  24. Obviously there is a long way to go until Texas travels to Baton Rouge, but Green is one of the best playmakers in the country. Not to mention, LSU faces off with Texas A&M this weekend. Will see how LSU overcomes the absence of one of the country’s top tight ends.
