They still likely don't beat the Seahawks. I'm not denying how bad he was, but judging an entire player off of 2 games is silly. He could very easily still play like a borderline top 10 QB this year.

Jersey decals in College Sports
HornFromChildressTx replied to Horns7's topic in On Texas Football Forum
My company. Iren (data center) pays $50m a year to the warriors to be their logo sponser lol. I would hope Texas doesn’t turn that down! -
Donor fatigue. It is coming in some shape or form. Too much $ not to . Especially if the PSA ever passes. The new cap will be 48.8 million , not 21.3 anymore. We will see , but Texas can command the best deal out there no doubt.

If this ever passes, best believe everybody will want Jersey patches etc. 48.8 million cap. https://x.com/RossDellenger/status/2082474624021843976?s=20 -
I was about to remark on the lack of appearances from the pant-pissers today (I thought maybe they were busy changing their yellow undies), and yet slowly but surely they start trickling in again.

I don’t like it. So many iconic jerseys in CFB that are going to get vandalized with these logos. Unfortunately I just don’t see programs, including Texas, turning down a big pay day to get it done. That’s money that can really make a difference.

Reading, like winning, is tough. Don’t even get started on math-ing.

I never believed I would see the Big brands in College athletics place an Advertisement on their uniforms. Did you? I guess I'm just old school. Notre Dame , I see is the last to bow to the almighty dollar. After Ohio State placed a Chase Bank logo on the Iconic jersey, now the Irish have jumped in to receive Cash from SOFI. Please place others you have heard about below or others that the Aggies and Sooners should consider below.

Overhated? All he had to do was just be average and not pee down his leg and they win the superbowl. The defense was that good last year - Today

Honestly, I hope he does take this all the way to the first national signing day. As of right now, LSU feels they are going to flip him. It’s a matter of when and not if. This means their pressure has not hit full throttle yet. If he can get to December without flipping, then he can sign with Texas and get out of town without dealing with all the backlash from friends, teammates and probably some family members. I’m sure he will make enough in NIL to relocate his mother and siblings if they want to be closer. I hope his agent has talked with him and his family about being a professional and dealing with the public and fan peer pressure. I could be wrong, but I thought Bobby had mentioned that his agent was the same agent of Cam Coleman. If that is the case, his recruitment will play out respectfully and not end up like some others in the past. Fingers crossed. And happy 17th birthday Easton!

Our countdown to kickoff rolls on with No. 38, a jersey worn by a pair of standout Texas linebackers from different eras. Glen Gaspard (1971–73) was one of the anchors of Darrell Royal’s defense, earning first-team All-Southwest Conference honors twice while leading Texas with 110 tackles in 1972. He helped the Longhorns capture three straight SWC championships, played in three consecutive Cotton Bowls, handled kicking duties early in his career, and was later selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the 1974 NFL Draft. Roddrick Muckelroy (2006–09) became one of the leaders of Mack Brown’s defense, finishing with 291 career tackles, 24 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, two interceptions, and three forced fumbles. A two-time All-Big 12 selection, Muckelroy helped Texas reach the 2009 BCS National Championship Game and was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

Yeah, his most important season in the pro football career and you come to camp looking like you ate Blue Bell all off-season. -

He posted 7/29 for his birthday. He hasn't set an announcement or anything. Whether he does anything today or not is TBD. Either way his recruitment is going to Early Signing Day.
