Pretty hard to fake culture your way to 39-8 the last 4 years. You seem to be mixing up the terms culture and discipline. Miami played for the national title last year ranking 113th in penalties. Was their culture bad or did they just struggle with discipline? Culture is fighting down 20 points against Ohio State in the 4th quarter. Discipline is not blocking someone in the back when the opportunity presents itself.

Is Sark's so-called "culture" a mirage? Is that why we are so undisciplined in every position group? Sark is always telling us "one person failed on this play and then another failed on this play... Not always the same person." That has to be a sign of missing discipline, doesn't it? Discipline always starts with position group coaches holding individual players accountable, and then Sark holding the team as a whole accountable. It doesn't seem like that's happening.

I appreciate CDC and Sark cleaning this up. In a world full of betting and porn that lures our youth and many of our supposedly mature men it’s nice to see someone stand up for what is just right. Morality and decency will never be uncool It’s ok to teach this to young people

You can say such things for every team If Isaiah Johnson doesn’t play well enough in a full time PG move this year … Texas doesn’t have another option Etc… with every team other than… maybe save Duke. That’s a coaches dream roster to start a season I don’t disagree on Fland. I’m not a big fan. But they have a tremendous offensive coach and a team of veteran winners. They will be a tough out if healthy. I believe only one team this year has the chance to come together and be dominant … Duke. But Scheyer has to deal with minutes on the most talented in the country I will add CBK is a wild unknown of sorts right now… until it’s seen what some of these rosters will truly look like. If Rick Pitino’s guys are all eligible, he can out coach about anyone … hard to know right now what the sport will truly look like by November

Someone once mentioned that Sark was a brilliant play designer but a lousy OC. That is why his scripts usually work, but after that, he struggles to stay consistent. Maybe that is because he prefers to call plays from the field and has to rely on eyes in the sky to figure out what the defense is doing. What genius is Buster Faulkner doing at Florida? This is essentially the same team as last year that struggled on offense. So, what are they doing differently? I've watched them a few times, and I don't see much change in formation or motions, so why the improvement? Yes, they are getting better QB play and execution, so they are obviously better coached. However, it seems like every play called is perfect against the defense they're running. How is that possible? My only conclusion is that Buster has a better view and control of the offense from the booth. Compare that to Sark who is still trying to play OC and head coach on the sidelines. He has to get info from his coaches in the booth and then call a play. If Arch doesn't have the ability to audible, as some have suggested, then each call is a crap shoot. This explains our constantly trying to run into inside run-blitizes and trying long developing pass plays against the same blitizes. It's ridiculous when you think about it, and insane to keep doing the save things and expecting different results.
