  1. Past hour
  2. South Carolina really got BVโ€™s last two OC hires Seth Littrell and Ben Arbuckle axed. Thatโ€™s wild.
  3. Great post CJ, and thanks for continuing to track these numbers. This is exactly why I think the offensive struggles go well beyond Arch. When you're leading the SEC in three-and-outs, it points to a much bigger problem with the offense as a whole. We can't consistently run the football, win the battles up front, or stay ahead of the chains. Arch certainly has things to improve, but it's unfair to put the entire burden on him when these issues have been present for multiple years. The lack of physicality and inability to sustain drives are what concern me most. At some point, we have to address the bigger problem rather than just blame the QB. Appreciate you bringing these numbers and context to the discussion.
  4. I wonder if they also make a change at QB?
  5. That loss will haunt me forever
  6. Arbuckle, who came over first from Wazzu as part of the Arbuckle-Mateer package, lasted only 21 games in Norman and now leaves his post 8 games into year 2. The Sooners went 14-7 during Arbuckle's time in Norman
  7. I disagree I think he absolutely is and many lesser QBs have done it b
  8. Come on now, cesspool comment would have said venables is better than sark ( I am not saying that, nor do I believe it to be true) but he did make the playoffs last year, beat us head to head this year with a less talented roster, and the side of the ball he coaches is the strength of his team unlike sarks.
  9. Not as terrible as the OL๐Ÿค˜
  10. It's hard to say but I have seen enough tape on him and the mistakes that I am skeptical.... A better OL would definitely help some though. The entire offense is broken.
  11. OK. I was turning up the contrast but understand your pov. IMHO if Arch didn't face impending doom all the time he'd be championship worthy if used to maximize his strengths and minimize weaknesses (plus some mechanical / practice reps on the backyard layups he still struggles with). He's tough, athletic, can hit a handful of deep shots per game, and just needs to think less and have confidence.
  12. And you are the cadaver with no brain!! Elko called looking for you at TexAgs!! ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿพ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฟ
  13. That was good. I completely forgot Mizzou lost to both Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
  14. Not really. Not my fault Arch is terrible.
  15. That is a personal problem. ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿพ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฟ
  16. It was a brutal time
  17. Neither..... He said he would take Arch with a good OL. I wouldn't because I do not think he is good enough to win it all....
  18. Leak? That damn fuel line is busted and the car is being towed by the defense.
  19. Which would you rather have, a future nfl clipboard holder behind a Joe Moore OL with a functional running game, or a Fernando Mendoza / Bo Nix type behind the bad news bears?
  20. Today
  21. I wouldn't....
  22. Iโ€™ll take our chances with our QB if we have a decent o-line.
  23. I agree. KJ coming in an just handing the ball off is not useful at all. Mark my word, we will need KJ Lacey at some point this season. Arch looked like he barely survived that MSU game. He was bleeding and getting up slow a number of times after taking too many big hits. Sark's going to keep using him that way because he's most effective when his legs are a factor too but it'll be inevitable he gets knocked out of a game at some point.
