  1. Past hour
  2. With people like Jerry Jones at least somewhat involved I’m surprised that he’s still around and that the football program is in the shape that it is.
  3. Was thinking the same thing 😭💀☠️
  4. He'll quickly switch to Freeman and Notre Dame if they play decent or better later today against Wisconsin.
  5. I think Miss St will do more than that. They will finish the season ranked. Kamario is the real deal.
  6. 100% it’s wild just how much money they’re missing out on because Yurachek’s such an a$$. If they truly wanted to make efforts to be competitive in football trust me the money would be there. I haven’t heard anyone say positive things about him or the state of the athletics department even with hiring Calipari.
  7. So after catching up and reading all of this what i got out of it is @Gerry Hamilton has crowned LSU national champs and basically saying we should just pack up the season. Gerry believes in his heart this LSU team is better than 2019 got it
  8. Clemson has more individual talent but as a team they are in the same tier as BC/Syracuse this year in the ACC. LSUs offense didn’t really impress me which is weird to say when scoring 51. I was MUCH more impressed with their defense, particularly their team speed. Leavitt is still just a “out of system” gunslinger. Keep him contained and he’s below average.
  9. LSU going to be good like rest of SEC apparently. I am wondering how bad is Clemson. They looked terrible. Could not stop the run. Hope we go to 24 team playoff because SEC going t beat each other up with nine game schedule.
  10. Seems like until Arkansas gets rid of the AD the football program is destined to struggle.
  11. They are not. All my friends and family up there really disliked the hire and felt like he’s not going to be any upgrade over what Pittman was.
  12. Today
  13. The way Sam Leavitt plays it kinda feels like he’s asking to get hurt in the SEC. Way too much running
  14. And Kamario Taylor is very, very talented running it. State may clip a ranked team this year
  15. A&M fans would definitely say I'm not a fan lol Their OL better improve in pass pro A LOT in a short amount of time. That game at LSU September 26 is going to be a hornets nest after last season, and now with the LSU fan base having something to get behind.
  16. Last night wasn't the first time Clemson got dominated like that. Georgia did it in a different way in 2024. Clemson with Klubnik didn't have 80 yards at half time. Lost 34-3, and were thoroughly dominated. Got outgained 447 to 188, and 62 of those 188 came on meaningless last series. That Clemson team was left for dead after. Ended up in CFP and lost to Texas. This Clemson team isn't quite as talented as that one on the DL (especially interior) I'm betting Clemson ends up 7-5/6-6 when they go to the freshman QB and roll with it... unless it gets so negative around the program that the players check out.
  17. Apparently the Hog fans aren’t very enthusiastic about the Ryan Silverfield era.
  18. Takeways ... 1. He knows he has a loaded roster, and they played really well with a raucous environment behind them. 2. LSU has been playing football a long time ... school record for first downs in a game. 3. He was real about it. And moving forward. The two weeks at the end of September will tell the story of where this this team is headed this season. At Ole Miss will be very difficult, then they have Texas A&M at home after. Texas A&M's OL better improve A LOT, and very quickly. If they win both, which are tough games... they will be 8-0 when Alabama comes to town with Texas after.
  19. Tennessee & Mississippi State both run the Veer & Shoot. Lebby is Art Briles’ SIL.
  20. I’m not crowing them. They will lose a game or two … but that was super impressive if we are all going to be honest If Texas had a new HC and game one with a total new roster put that level of performance on the field … the fan base would be crowning them. Same with USC fan base, or any other fan base. That was super impressive. My take away from LSU is they have just as much or more talent than Texas, Miami or USC based on watching those teams the last two days. And they have the best offensive scheme/play calling combo in CFB. It’s why Lane took LSU. And that environment was special last night. The SEC is going to beat each other up IMO.
  21. Harlem was hurt some of fall camp LSU is going with the power run game … Jones is definitely the fit for what they want to do based on the scheme last night
  22. My two biggest takeaways are that the OL seemed more athletic and better at the point of attack, and the defense was much more aggressive. The OL will only get better as they gel together, and get in “game shape”. Muschamp will be able to get more complex with his game plans as the defense grows, younger guys get more run, and everyone understands their assignments better. Overall, in a much better place to start the year than last year. Remember that UTEP gave us a hard time. Next week’s message is challenging their physicality to set a tone for the season, and can they overcome one of the big bad wolves in tOSU.
  23. Yeah I agree. But Gerry is a fan! Lol
  24. Every season that goes by, this ages like fine wine…
  25. Yeah I recall the sack you're talking about, he hesitated on whether to run or not. The defender gave him the ultimatum. He had another pass, I believe the 2nd TD for Coleman, that he threaded really well.
