  1. Past hour
  2. Answered it above but you give Mac the start and 1 run through the lineup as long as her drop ball is low in the zone. If she cleans up like she did vs Tennessee then you let her go another. At any point if her drop ball starts elevate in the zone you talk to her and watch another batter. If it's still high then you pull and bring in TK. Have to give Tech a different look in this game to start to throw their hitters off and then you can bring TK in to throw them off again midway through the game.
  3. You'll find your answer if you look at Connie Clark's record at Texas with Cat Osterman and Blaire Luna and compare it to her record without them. It's not like looking at Charlie Strong's coaching record with and without Teddy Bridgewater, but the softball program's five Super Regionals and four trips to the WCWS before Mike White were either with one of those two pitchers on the roster.
  4. That one sucks. I happen to think he's a better player than Gasparino and should have been our full-time CF about halfway through conference play.
  5. We'll see. I think the focus is on bringing in pieces rather than 1-for-1 replacements. Losing Belyeu, Galvan, Flores and Schuessler is a lot to replace in one offseason, even with access to the portal. Depth was one of Schloss' biggest concerns throughout the season, so I'm expecting a lot of roster turnover.
  6. Livingston's team rankings for the Shockers in 2025 (minimum of 2 PA/G or 75 percent of the team's games played): — Third in batting average (.284) — First in OPS (.958) — First in home runs (15, the only Wichita State player with more than eight) — First in RBI (48) — First in total bases (117) — First in slugging (.555) — T-1 in walks (28) — Second in OPB (.403)
  7. Jeff do they bring in someone to push Gasparino in CF?
  8. 86 days 🤘 Peter Ullman (2005-08)
  9. Texas needs infield depth, period. Livingston gives them another option for either of the corner infield positions.
  10. Farmer deserves a lot of credit for the work he put in to get himself into the mix as a starter following the coaching change. When it comes to his replacement, however, I think Texas needs a corner outfielder who can either get on base more frequently (a .371 OBP with 25 walks and 10 HBP against 65 strikeouts) or provide more pop (44 total hits with 13 doubles and one home run, good for a .339 slugging percentage).
  11. Took my my mother to see Dances with Wolves 29 November 1990 in Longview, TX.
  12. I could only imagine how frustrating a year it was for Farmer.
  13. He was pretty 💩at the plate. Good defender though We will massively upgrade
  14. No mayo on corn dogs. That would be as bad as putting mayo on a Whataburger.
  15. Luv you guys just wanted to share some frustrations regarding announcers noting first ever texas womens WCWS championsiph. The AIAW site notes Texas women won the WCWS in 1979. If Aggies can count 3 championbships why cant we claim ours prior to title 9. See historical AIAW web site below AIAW.pdf
  16. Today
  17. She hasn't pitched that much this WCWS though. Definitely think they give Mac the start though to give Tech a different look to start.
  18. I'm thinking Mac starts and Kavan comes in to close, else she goes game 3 if necessary. Late in the WCWS, White said that Kavan lost some velocity when she was tired, so it makes a difference for her to get rest.
  19. Oh what a night ! All we heard from the commentators was Canady, Canady , Canady ! perhaps they will respect Kavan now that she’s beat Canady 4 straight times. My wife & I so enjoyed the win ! Can’t wait until tonight! Thank you OTF for the wonderful coverage of our Ladies Softball team . Mike White & our team representing our University well .
  20. Only German song to ever be number one in the US. Learned German when I was 19 in 1990.
  21. So who we got in the NBA finals? I’m taking the underdog Indiana Pacers. For some reason their depth and team chemistry seem really special. This and being a considerable underdog by all the pundits have me remembering my 1990 Cincinatti Reds against thise Oakland A’s. Rooting for Miles Turner as well.
  22. I'm only 25 but this makes me feel old. Still remember watching him rumble into the end zone against OU
