  2. A source close to the Ohio State commit Marcus Fakatou tells OTF that the five-star defensive lineman intends on visiting Texas for the Ohio State game on Sept. 12. This will mark Fakatou's second game visit at DKR after taking in Texas-Texas A&M last November. He returned in April and then again for an official visit in June. Recruit through the whistle...
  3. If it’s a foreign league, that might not count.
  4. The wave may be over.
  5. OL until proven otherwise after last year
  6. Uhhhh is this legal? She’s a baller in the WNBL but didn’t the sec just pass a rule……
  7. Great first post. Welcome aboard! 🤘
  8. Thanks for this update, Bobby. The expansion into volleyball, softball, and baseball makes it clear this rule is intended to define amateur eligibility across multiple sports, not just address a football loophole. Sounds like a straightforward signal: the SEC intends to keep former professionals out across the board, and Sankey now has the authority to enforce that without waiting on NCAA committees. Someone needs to tell these ex‑pros, “Go play in your local rec league if you’re bored - you’re not turning college sports into your comeback tour." GO SANKEY
  9. Call me crazy but i don’t think a single position group truly “worries” me. We have dogs at every position and great coaching everywhere. If i have a worry for the year it’s the ability to live up to the expectations and possibilities this team can have. Having all the tools to be a championship is great. But it’s how to the team answers every challenge and if they can handle the pressure.
  10. I listened to that game on the radio in my off campus room a few blocks from Rice Stadium. After what UT had done to Rice - my first ever trip to Austin was to see that game - I actually thought Texas was the best team that could possibly exist. So I was shocked by Kern Tips exploding with the Gibbs to Iles TD. Before Raymond Clayborn, Eric Metcalf, Nathan Vasher, or Ryan Niblett I would have said Saxton was the most exciting return man I had seen in burnt orange.
  11. Castellanos to Tech.
  12. Turns out it’s Perez lol. Coach introduced him as Lopez
  13. He better get some big NIL deals one day
  14. Does he still have a decent stand up routine?
  15. Mine was Jack Collins from the 1959 team that played national champion Syracuse in the Cotton Bowl. He played a great game in that loss to what was clearly a superior Syracuse team. I still remember the cover of Dave Campbell's Texas Football the following summer: "Jack Campbell--Texas' next All-American back?"
  16. Wide receivers and corners were doing individual drills on the same side of the field in the indoor. one coach yelled at the corners, “if yall come any closer to #1, we are going to have some issues.” Mitchell receiving the “don’t hit the QB” treatment in practice lol
  17. For those that care … NCAA just won a stay in the state of Tennessee case too. So more hoops guys are now ineligible for the time being, including Chendall Weaver
  18. Too early to tell. Would like to hear Texas’ communication with Mitchell was a little higher currently.
  19. 2028 OL prospect George Perez looked great today. Probably a center at the next level, but coaches rave about his mean streak in the trenches. Probsbly 6–3, 285 right now. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/23084572/69b4aa5ab825b7183ccb98ff
  20. Odds on Mitchell ending up at Texas?
  21. Today
  22. He practiced this morning. As of yesterday and the initial rule set, he is/was fine. But like I wrote this morning. The only caveat is Greg Sankey’s interpretation of these new rules. Not Texas, not NCAA, not the courts, etc.
