  1. Past hour
  2. 41-14 Ole Miss ends the playoff dream and pitchforks come out.
  3. Ain't that the truth! College Football is on meth.
  4. We have yet to put together a complete game yet have held double digits leads in all but one game. The outlier was against the #1 team in the country, we all know the outcome of that game. This Saturday, Texas plays its first complete game of the season. You are going to see this offense go off for 41 points and win in a shootout. Hook 'Em!
  5. Hard to pick this one since we can't really read what Sark is thinking/doing to truly fix the issues. Heart tells me we pull it out by making a big play at the end of the game 31-30 but my brain says they embarrass us 37-23 cause Sark waits to long to see Center/Arch and Special Teams are the major issues with this team.
  6. Stalled? I think the transmission got stuck in reverse.
  7. Did Sark "eat the cheese" after the Ohio State game?
  8. They're part of the history of our program. My experience as a fan is in part defined by the head coaches who have coached our athletic squads. I'm liable to bring up Black, Lemons, Wetlich, Penders, or Barnes, as well. And certainly Smart, who managed to exceed Wetlich as a complete disaster of a hire. Same in football. Royal, Akers, McWilliams, Mackovic, Brown, Strong, Herman, and now Sarkisian, plus whoever comes next. They're all a part of it. I'm hopeful we're about to enter the sort of golden age we experienced in the 2000s. I thought that was going to last until I died. But it didn't. I'd love to see us put together a string of Sweet 16s and better. We'll see.
  9. That's idiotic. What are you supposed to do? You have to cover the team. And frankly, you've always liked Rodney Terry. I LIKE Rodney Terry. But you can't come out and say you don't think he'll be a good coach after he's been hired. I can say, just for the record, that Gerry has always felt like Sean Miller would be a great hire. Even the first go around when Terry got the job, he liked Sean Miller. That's not to cast aspersions on Terry. Gerry simply thought Miller would be a good fit. So far it's looking like he was right.
  10. OK go back to sleep. LOL
  11. Dog ate my homework. Keyboard was on mute. Power failure. At least someone has creativity.
  12. Today
  13. Texas now has 11 commits for the 28’ class.. 9 of them are in the top 100.. #1 class currently. Schloss, Marder, and co are doing a great job🤘🏻
  14. There is a rich tradition of independents in cfb. Everyone was independent at one point and more schools should go back. Miami, Florida St, Penn St, BYU, West Virginia, and Virginia Tech were all independent into the 90s.
  15. Putting all our hope into Sark becoming a different coach seems like a fairly significant point in his tenure.
  16. Cautiously optimistic for no reason other than CFB makes no sense this season.
  17. I’m optimistic about all these losses compiling may compel some change in coaching after this season. I’m not rooting against Texas but, I am rooting against Sark right now.
  18. If the defense can get some turnovers and give the offense a short field, then Texas has a solid chance to win.
  19. Conferences suck. There should be more independents.
  20. 7 years of college down the drain
  21. That’s interesting analysis considering the Texas offense rarely runs any true RPOs.
  22. I don’t have any expectations honestly. I feel like I’m back in pre 2023 where if we win I’ll be happy, if not it is what it is lol
  23. Lots of scenarios possible but, for some reason, I will go with the Texas wins easily one. Cooper has the most carrys and averages over 5. Arch, runs.
  24. Not much faith on the O or special teams since it appears sark is making not real changes. Good thing arch has had a good week of practice since that hasnt been the trend lol.
