Pretty encouraging results for the women who win the meet by knocking off Arkansas due to stronger depth. In CC, your top 5 runners are scored and while Arkansas' top 3 runners finished 1,4,5, their last two finishers were 38 and 72. The top runner for Texas was Elizabeth Pickett in 3rd, followed by Isabel Conde De Frankenberg in 9th, Melody Espinoza in 13th, Syndi Wilkins in 17th and Lily Fawcett in 20th. Teams scores were 52 for Texas and 103 for Arkansas. Will be interesting to see the updated USTFCCCA rankings on Tuesday. Texas women should move ahead of Arkansas. Tulane has been the number 1 team in the region and likely remains there.

A hamstring issue on a soft, wet field is not a recipe for success if he's not 100%. Not ideal, but let him rest and unleash him next week.

The men have finished in what is essentially a head to head Texas vs Arkansas with a handful of other small division schools mixed in. Texas got smoked by Arkansas, their top 4 runners finishing 1,2,4,5. Texas top 4 runners 7,9,10,11. Biggest problem I see is that Texas runners got beat not only by Arkansas but also runners from Oral Roberts and Northwest Missouri.

Probably prioritizing other positions for depth

I would imagine the biggest issue is that he's about 5'9" 185 lbs., and not exactly a speedster.

No of course not and I know they are really just looking at guys but I didn’t expect them to score 11 runs on our pitching and us only score 4 on their pitching. Maybe Lamar is pretty good. Kinda like UTSA last year. Everybody has good players

RB room needs an influx of change agents. Starting with Cooper. Wisner has done a hero’s job of filling in as an RB1 but it’s time to get RBU back to our standard.

Sure, but is that what's happening? Like I said he wasn't dressed for the SHSU game, and he's not even travelling to this one even with our RB injuries.

Stewart is a Wisner type back that has five guys ahead of him. Taking a year to build some armor and recuperate from three years of heavy usage in high school is a no brainer.

Heard he is so undersized that a redshirt was inevitable
