A significant shift in the 2026 class picture as Edwards was the lone back in the 2026 class from the state of Texas the Longhorns were expecting to bring in for an official visit and one of just two that had officials scheduled. Texas has hosted one running back in the 2026 cycle for an official visit this month – Ezavier Crowell. The Alabama native has a decision date for June 26 and is expected at Alabama this weekend for an official visit. There remains no official visit set for Derrek Cooper to Texas as well.

Maybe Sark needs to start offering NIL sooner than later.
